So how long will Skull Merchant be unplayable?
I really hope we don't get another Freddy situation where people who like the character have to deal with them being the worst in the entire game for years. Completely gutting a character like this should never be an option but at the very least give us a timeframe of how long they will remain this way.

Well, they were not able to fix even one addon from huntmaster they said they will change. So imagine how long it will take whole killer.

I heard they mentioned on Twitter (shortly after she got destroyed last year) that the rework is planned for this year or next year (not sure which it's been a while).

This year. I imagine that one of the things we'll get with the anniversary chapter will be a Skull Merchant rework.
Edit: Damn, somebody really hates Skull Merchant if a fact and someone guessing the date of rework makes them downvote, lol.

She's not unplayable. You just got too used to low skill cheese tactics, and now you found out you were bad all along.

But you cant Play her without the Hex Totems what always cleansed after 20-60 seconds, her Power is actualy kinda Bad to Easy to avoid or to fast puttet offline the Drohnes, I know her Past well and of course you have 2 Camps one Side this ones who hate her and this ones who loved her before she got Dead Nerfed, i mean look at her Pickrate or Perks with what she get played.

I played Skull Merchant often and i loved her, I understand that some People hate her in the Early Time she was realy to Strong, but now she is feeled Dead Nerfed, self the Nurse is Stronger then her and both got many Nerfes.1 -
Merchants are not a survivor frustration, unlike Deep wound or camping, so they can be left alone.

Yeah the downvote button serves very little useful purpose. There were people day 1 commenting on threads that they were gonna downvote everything and laugh at the reactions when the button came back.

if you are losing to skull merchant I'd recommend examining your own gameplay. take a peek at any tier list.

Tier lists are opinion pieces that streamers use to get clicks from amateurs. A killer is only ever as strong as the player's skill level. That is why low skill merchant is not a problem for me.

Very true. Before, if you didn't like a change, you either had to ignore the post, or reply to it. And it's much easier to see if somebody has an actual argument, or is plain biased when they have to write something. Now, you can simply downvote, and it's technically feedback, but many downvotes translate to "I'm biased, and I dislike this" regardless if the post they're replying to has actual merit or not.

Oh sure, so Trapper players struggle because they are "low skill level" and not because they have a power that is only situationally useful and requires 3 business days of setup to even get value from his power.
Skill will only help you so much when playing M1 only. Hell, that's why we even have killer powers in the first place.

Trapper is a slow start but creates a devastating snowball if played well.
