Anime in my silly little horror game? Ew

What's done is done I guess but me personally I think we of the dead by daylight community deserve better like A Wolfman killer, just imagine a shirtless homeless looking guy running around the map smacking survivors with his dirty nails then boom he turn into werewolf and insta downs people. Or the invisible Man???? A stealth killer who once in stealth takes off his coat and says something badass like "going ghost" or "check this out" "getting a bit hot up in here"

Kaneki is from horror anime/manga lol, what honestly is the problem with him in the game?

No problem, I'm just not an anime fan anymore. I'm just baffled we got an anime character before we get classics like the Wolfman or Frankenstein

Okay but it's still a massive W for the game.
Just because I dont know anything about Tokyo Ghoul does not really change the impact the content will have, people who do enjoy Tokyo Ghoul will come to the game and maybe stick around long enough to join the DBD community. Or just the fact that a new Killer being added is overall more variety within the game.
And even still, the new Killer is mechanically fun to play as/against, which is the bare minimum that I consider with Chapters since gameplay should always come before anything else. The developers have also been doing really well with trying to listen to feedback regarding the new Killer and have been providing us with information and future changes that they have planned which is amazing.
Like I understand wanting "horror classics" in DBD, but in the same sense, DBD also needs collaborations to help foster community growth and to help keep the lights on. I also think the Chapter will just be really positive for the game anyways.

Watch the first episode. Its horror.
I'm not sure why we got the victim( aside from mass market appeal), instead of the actual evil binge murdering woman monster.
But that's on Behavior. Creators original intent was attractive lady preys on nerd and eats him.

I think it's odd people are pretending we don't already have attack on titan running around. Somehow that didn't ruin the mood, but THIS does?

Imagine hating one of the best rated animes in the horror genre. LUL.

I think the AoT skins were silly, but Tokyo Ghoul is fine. There's worse killers made from worse material in DbD already; if anything Tokyo Ghoul is a step up.
It does leave me wondering what other horror manga/anime we could get. There's not a lot that I know of, and the few I do know wouldn't fit very well as anything other than cosmetics.

So you are against Anime in DBD but want your Furry Fantasies included? Not trying to Kink-Shame here, but people just have different tastes. And it is just logical for BHVR to try a lot to get more and more people to play the game. If a few hundred players join DBD because they like Tokyo Ghoul, this is a win for everyone.
I also dont like FNAF but I cannot ignore the fact that it is a very succesful license and that it will be beneficial for BHVR to bring it to DBD. But that does not mean that I make a Thread in a few months a la "Cringe Animatronics in my silly little horror game? Ew".

Na I'm not much for anime anymore I have heard it was good but still ain't for me

I think we'll start getting dark, violent anime that isn't necessarily horror. After something like D&D anything is fair game. There just aren't a lot of horror anime that are well known or marketable.

Culturally such characters like the Wolfman or Frankenstein are every bit as ridiculous as any horror character in anime.

I'd rather have horror anime any day over fnaf or other furry stuff

More ridiculous than a cartoon character running around the map? Ok 👍

Also how do you categorize og Wolfman as the furries? Og Wolfman weren't out here sending you owo's after a match and weren't at school telling how it's acceptable for him to wear a collar at school and bark at the kid who identify as cat
