Inner Strength should function like Overzealous

I think Inner Strength should also activate for Blessing a totem just as Overzealous allows for either Blessing or Cleansing. It could have a max number of uses to avoid abuse. However, it should still count because Blessing a Totem is beneficial to your teammates.

tbh I don't think this is a good idea. The current Inner Healing means that you can either use a totem for a boon, or destroy the totem for a free heal (and still lets you heal if said totem was a hex no less, so 2 things in 1).

Maybe make where if you cleanse it's 8 seconds but if you boon it's 12 to 16 seconds.

Oh I see. I was just thinking it would be a cool build for Survivors.

It would be fine given the current state of boons because boons right now are mid at best, but if they were actually good it'd be op so that's why I think this is bad, boons should be good without this combo

One thing that I really like about Inner Strength is the fact that the perk is good on one survivor but not good when everyone runs it. I wish the developers would create/rework more perks to work like this. for example, Potential Energy could get a rework and you gain gen progress by opening chests or cleansing totem - you would get a fair trade and it would enable better chests/totem builds.

But to answer the question: No, Inner Strength is in a good spot and the suggested buff would buff it in the wrong direction.

However, the only buff the perk should get indirectly is to make cleansing a dull totem takes now 10 seconds instead of 16 seconds. This would help every other totem perk. Meanwhile, the could increase the cleanse time for hex totems to 24 seconds while nerfing Thrill of the Hunt.
