Range killers need to be removed
So ive been playing dead by daylight for years i have nearly 2 thousand hours and in my opinion range killers are extremely overpowered let me explain. So as a survivor your objective is to do generators and loop the killer so in looping its all about distance right you have pallets to get the stun and gain distance on the killer, windows to gain distance on the killer, so when you get range killers like huntress for example who have multiple chances to hit you from any amount of distance so it completely makes pallets and windows obsolete like its completely overpowered, and sure you can try and dodge but it barely ever works and even then thats like the only counter thats out there, basically what im trying to say is range killers beat the whole purpose of looping for a survivor because the whole point of looping like i said is to gain distance and then you add killers that completely remove that distance factor and its just OP theres no other way to put it other than its overpowered, and it used to be not bad like 2 years ago when there were fewer range killers but the past 7 killers added have had a range attack in some way shape or form and its got to the point where i get a range killer 80% of my games and the other 20% i usually just get tunneled or slugged by a trapper who either slugs or camps basement but that actually has counters like unbreakable and stuff but for range killers there is 0 counters other than dodging. And the reason this is such a big problem for me is because its completely ruining the fun of the game for me, ive been playing for like 4 hours today every single one of my games except one has been chucky, huntress or cenobite and i lose to range killers every single time literally ever single time the whole team is dead by 2-3 gens. Like 2 years ago my winrate was probably about 50-60% nowadays its more like 20%, and this isnt the main issue but so many of the teammates i get see that its huntress or some sort of range killer and they purposely die and take all chances on hook to leave the game so please behaviour remove these killers or add some perk that can counter it or maybe nerf the range killers like huntress shouldnt have 8 hatchets or whatever it is because when im in chase it feels like i never get rewarded for getting the stun or anything because they instantly just pull up hatchet and remove all that distance i just made its just no skill asf.

Did you know that a melee killer when they are on top of you also has an uncounterable attack people refer to as an M1. Unless you manage to dodge the attack, but dodging an M1 is significantly more difficult than a ranged attack since all ranged attacks are telegraphed.
Maybe we should remove M1 abilities since if a killer gets on top of you it's basically impossible to avoid an hit.

Your entire argument here is involving how ranged killers makes looping pointless? The game was never designed to be purely about looping. Stealth, teamwork, and strategic decision-making are all part of the game. And the original gameplay was hiding, and less looping until players catched onto the RNG and structures that generated on maps. And the developers didn't fight against it, they adjusted the game around it whilst obviously not expecting it to be the dominant strategy otherwise features like Bloodlust, Entity Blocking and better anti loop features would've been in the game way before Nurse's release.
Secondly, ranged killers have counterplay, an obvious one being dodging to the best of your ability despite how good or patient they are, being as random and unpredictable as possible will make the likely hood of you being hit very slim (I mention this, as most people don't even attempt to dodge, and continue moving in a straight line or strafe in a predictable way). Taking advantage of line of sight blockers like tall walls, loops with tight corners and in door maps basically render the ranged killers power completely useless at times, punish those that don't take the M1 when they're forced to, exhaustion perks can allow you reposition yourself into a safer area and of course survivor teamwork can easily force ranged killers into weaker positions or the survivors can take body blocks
And no, the entire idea of looping "isn't to gain distance?", what kind of definition is that? By looping the killer you're wasting their time from them checking and preventing the survivors of doing their objectives the generator. You can have all the distance on the entire map you're on and run into a dead zone with no resources, and you still go down, so that doesn't work by assuming distance = survival.

I'm playing dbd from the begining, and have over 9k hours in game* and IMO, killers should be only M1, with no powers regarding map traversal or tracking. It's too overpowered.
*- it's a joke. I started playing around 2020, and have only around 1,3k hours.

so when you get range killers… …who have multiple chances to hit you from any amount of distance so it completely makes pallets and windows obsolete
It… doesn't make them obsolete becuase you can traverse them faster than the killer can, and the pallets and windows are surrounded by walls which prevent their ranged attacks from being as effective (or makes them entirely noneffective if its huntress or deathslinger whose m2 cant go through walls). These walls also limit the distance they can hit you from.
and sure you can try and dodge but it barely ever works
It. Does work? Often? Maybe your movements are too predictable?
the whole point of looping like i said is to gain distance
The point of looping is to buy time which isn't the same thing - often, strong tiles can be milked for far more than just the distance they would grant you by predropping, buying multiple turns through the tile whilst the killer (who, if it is a far-ranged killer is often 110) is forced to break the pallet or just follow you whilst you loop a window properly.
i lose to range killers every single time literally ever single time the whole team is dead by 2-3 gens. Like 2 years ago my winrate was probably about 50-60% nowadays its more like 20%
Have you tried reviewing these losses? Recording them, through whatever means your platform allows, and watching them back for your mistakes? Becuase with a winrate that low you are making mistakes. Hell - your winrate could be 100% and I'd argue you could very well still be making mistakes. Get a friend to watch them. I'm sure plenty of the bigger communities for this game have people willing to review vod footage for you as well.
I'd also ask to you play Huntress for a good few games, at least until you start losing (which I promise you will, because nobody has a 100% winrate in this game) and then watch those games back to see what the survivors beating you are doing. Report back, it'll be fun to read your thoughts on this process.

Actually, there are people who (after very small roundoff error) have 100% win rate. Those people play blight and nurse mostly (maybe 4man SWF squads, but you still have much better chances as blight/nurse or select few other killers).
But this is a nitpick. All you said is correct

No M1 is balanced as they have to close the distance to be able to do that and its counterable with pallet stuns and windows, multiple perks like dead hard, mettle of man etc can counter M1 as well but think of huntress hatchet you throw pallet and your dead, you run through pallet and your dead, you vault window and your dead.

Yes i understand what your saying about not shooting through walls and stuff for certian killers and yeah i have recorded many games (I used to make youtube videos) and yes you are right i do make mistakes and sure maybe my movements are predictable but theres only so much you can do when your stuck on a map like coldwind where its basically all open area, ive had multiple huntress that bring map offering to really open maps with lots of deadzones, and yeah sure ill play like 5 games of huntress im probably going to lose all the games though because my aim is trash i dont play killer i never really have i would say 95% of my ingame hours are either leveling up characters in bloodpoint menu or playing survivor rest is killer, but yeah no i see your points and you do have valid arguments

This is fair, i think the reason so many people here are disagreeing with me is just because of playstyle differences, I dont play for the team or to do generators i play to get chased by the killer that is all i care for now this dosent mean i dont do gens and just sit around doing nothing waiting for the killer to chase me so the point of looping for me isnt really to buy time its to get distance to the next tile to keep the chase going. And yes i do use exhaustion perks my build is dead hard, made for this, hope, resilience its a full chase build because like i said the only reason i still load up the game every day is because i want to loop killers for as long as possible in one chase.

So... You want to change whole game because YOU want to be chased? Sounds legit, but a little too egocentric

precisely yes
