Killers hating on Renato?
I played many games last night, everytime I was playing as Renato, people would just tunnel and camp me. Literally every game. When I played as Sable though, I was the last survivor.
I played a game with my friend and my sister against a Ghoul last night, the killer was friendly to everyone except me, he showed me to the others while on the hook to tell them to unhook me, just to down me and hook me again.. he even has let them escape.
Do killers have anything against Renato? It's a genuine question..

How big a sample are you working from and what are any other factors that could contribute?

Last time I did proper stats (couple of years back)
Tapp was the most tunnelled & most camped survivor by a long long way. (Talking stats on thousands of games over the year) Ash was the survivor most given gate or hatch just incase your interested.
Haven't seen much hate for Renato personally though to be fair I don't see that much Renato, if there are Male characters its almost always Dwight, Ace or Felix in my games (at least through non stat collection memory)
Now I feel like maybe I should start running stat collections again & see how things are these days 🤔

They do have background player, and that perk is obnoxious.

I think its more like renattos are seen as the "male Neas" and are often attributed to toxicity / hard looping / constant blind saves. Atleast that what i get a slight feeling of everytime i see a renatto on killer (not that i try to tunnel them tho) but the other renatto mains might be causing a bad reputation that makes them want to get you out first (just in case)
Otherwise ive had killers tunnel me off just for being the only guy character in the group several times in the past as well.

I've had a lot of bad experiences with Renatos. As said above, they're often the male counterpart to Nea.

I feel that Steve and Leon has garnered more hate than Renato. I don't know why killers would hate on Renato anyways.
I find more killers tunneling me out as Sable than Renato to be honest.

I enjoy killing him cuz he's kinda ugly...I'm sorry. And he's given me flashbang ptsd.

To be fair, when a shirtless Renato is running around, I'm just chasing him because I'm trying to get his number.

Ngl as @Tits says renatos and aces in that black suite with flashies tends be very toxic and cocky and I seen this quite often as both survivor and killer lol.
As Leon Yoichi and Trevor or Alucard are my mains I seem to get 0 hates ty god. Draculas always tend to want me to live as alucard especially.
Honestly its steves I got a hatred in ever since scene partner and I avoid lobbies as a survivor or killer. Am sorry that perk is annoying and not healthy for people with disabilities( not that I have any other then wearing glasses.)

I know there are survivors certain killers definitely hate. I kill every Jane I meet.

Not a lot of if any handsome original survivors unfortunately, we do have Carlos from RE though! Luckily there is some absolute mommies to make up for it :3 Rize is arguably handsome

It's not that you're playing Renato, it's that - speaking as a Killer Main - in my experience Renatos are overconfident types who tend to be the sort to taunt the Killer thinking that they're looping gods, sometimes they ARE for a while… then they go down in chase in five seconds and proceed to be salty about it the whole game. That or they're always being SUUUUPER obnoxious about saves, blinds, being the hero, trying to loop you all round, etc. I genuinely save them for last and ignore them all round every time I find one because I KNOW all they want is attention. They're brats.
Thalitas on the other hand will whip your entire Killer ass around every tile and you'll laugh at her cheeky teabags, then gladly let her go. Thalitas are pretty damn cute and good loopers.

I understand, even though I'm not like that.. it sucks that people made you think of Renato that way.
But I understand now.
