Kill switch is only for game breaking bugs if I'm not mistaken, it is not for personal reasons like I don't like the killer

well i just dont think im the only one saying this, ive seen mulktiple posts on the forum here about how extremely broken ghoul is, its not just me. and in my opinion getting hit THROUGH WALLS is a game breaking bug especially when ghoul pickrate is like 95% right now

Didn't they say its intended? Which is kinda crazy that it is if so.
I am sure changes will happen but to kill switch the brand new killer would be bad for both people enjoying the new killer and for bhvr as a business.

the only people enjoying the killer are the ones playing it because they cant sit there barely even trying and just get 4ks everytime because either everyone just dies super fast due to how op it is or people see its the new killer and just go next on hook.

He is not extremely broken. People are blowing him way out of the water with the "Nerfs"

I'd argue that being able to secure free hits through walls and pallets etc. Is cause for a kill switch - A lot of things about the ghoul are just how he is. But the broken ######### is undeniably broken.

YES because they are abusing a BUG that makes them able to permanent hinder you and after they hit you during a pallet vault AND your prompts to try revault said pallets are not working too, which am recording every single instance of this as we speak and will be posting them later.

A kill switch is needed when there are huge bugs, not when you don't want to learn the killer's counterplays

I think it's because his power uses hitscan, which means it's not that getting hit through walls is intended, it's that it only appears the survivor is getting hit through a wall and it's a side effect of how his power works.
Because Kaneki has to bridge the gap between himself and the survivor, there's a bit of time after the hitscan registers during which the survivor can move, like behind a wall. The hit has already been decided, but the survivor doesn't get stunned by it until Kaneki reaches them and does his rage animation. The other option, beginning the stun the moment the hitscan registers, would be awful.
I've seen someone else say his power is hitscan because the devs tested it otherwise and he was simply unplayable, he couldn't land hits. That's hearsay and I don't have the original source for it, but trying to imagine it myself I absolutely believe that's true at least on controller if not also M&K.

There is no counterplay like what are you talking about, and dont even say MFT it barely does anything thats 3% aint helping after i get hit through a wall and then the killer already has power back and elimates all that distance in 2 seconds

This here is what I learnt from the devs aswell which is implied that it is intended, does it feel good? No. But it's the vision they wanted so it is not a bug.
I do really enjoy this killer but I can see the frustrations of the survivors, I just hope they get a good middleground and not like poor old skull merchant.

I think giving the survivors a better animation on their side during the stun would help. Right now, they just stand there and it looks like a bug; my friend thought it was a bug the first time it happened to him. As you watch the stun in 3rd person from behind the survivor, there's not enough happening to justify being locked in place. It needs more animation visible to the survivor player happening during the stun.
That's my opinion, anyway.

He has a lot of counter games at the end of the day, this is m1 killer, for example, windows is quite strong against him, but instead of waiting for the ghoul to cancel power, survivors jump ahead of time and there are a lot of such moments, and with mft even morein
And in any case, killswitch is needed for bugs0 -
It does seem a bit janky and like what just happened?
Just a bit more visual clarity would help alot more, being locked in one place in almost any game isn't fun as it takes player agency away, done right is fine though and I put my faith in bhvr to do what's right!

You putting your faith in behaviour? LOL any update they do is a disaster every single time

Average ghoul atrocity committer.
Let me clarify, I love the ghoul and I'm not calling for him to be gutted like everyone else. But there are some glaring issues and I for one don't want to be one of the killer mains content with making the survivor experience even more miserable.
One of the few things survivors have in their arsenal is obstacles and if the ghoul can just deny people cover from hits while simultaneously having built in aim bot for his power so it seems to me that either BHVR is sick of developing this clown show and wants people to stop playing or they just genuinely have no idea how their game works.
However the system works, BVHr and the rest of the community cannot just pretend its all fine and dandy because otherwise it might be worse. BHVr should've taken more time and found a way to make the killer playable and still not gut wrenchingly unfair.

Windows are only considerably strong on the 2nd hit otherwise they literally don't matter. Everyone in the lobby might as well be using no mither against ghoul because he doesn't have to try to injure people - it happens practically automatically. I don't understand people doing mental gymnastics to justify this. There is arguably some counterplay but it's not fun and at the end of the day survivors need to have some fun otherwise the killer queue will continue to be god awful. That's literally all I care about, I just want to find a game within ten minutes bro please.

That's just not true. Is he op and overtuned, sure. But he'll get nerfed. But even with a numbers change, that won't change what he brings to the table, and there's plenty of survivors who can appreciate a killer you have to loop.
For years, survivors have complained about strong anti loop killers whose only counterplay is to hold forward and leave early. Now we have a killer who counters hold forward and forces you to loop. That is gonna be appreciated.
Even if Kaneki is stronger, I'll take him over Hag or Knight because I just don't find them fun regardless of their power level.
What makes Kaneki upsetting is either you cannot loop, or your teammates do not respect you looping and just do nothing while you burn the pallets. Problem #1 can be fixed with practice, problem #2....I got nothing for that one.

I'm sticking to killer until they do something about the ghoul
