Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

BPs for finishing Blood Gens should be awarded to each survivor in the trial.

It makes no sense that you can complete 99% of every Blood Gen, but bloodpoints are only rewarded to survivors who finish them. It especially feels unfair when you can't even interact with the blood gens, because hooked/being chased/going for unhook.

The main problem is the fact that only the completing survivor gets the points.

Your suggestion of every survivor getting the points is good but if the devs are worried about that giving too many BP for survivors I would even be okay with the gens giving points to each survivor based on the percentage of them that they filled (kinda how it works for regular gens).

Basically, anything other than the current system would be better.

I love spending four minutes hauling blood to a generator and then getting nothing for it.

I think this is also a huge reason for the "gen rushing" in the mode. It's not just the lack of slow down perks, it's the fact that you set the canister down, you'll lose it, so you tend to stealth a lot more to guarantee you're able to use yours…but even worse is when you repair 90% of a gen, but need a tiny bit more blood, so you try to go grab it and before you get back someone pops it….then you get nothing for all your work.

Please BHVR, please fix this before the event is over. It'll also massively alleviate the need to "slam" gens, because everyone gets credit. This is greatly needed, so gens slow down a bit, since slow down perks can't be used.

Yeah, this is definitely a problem. Survivors earn a tiny bit of points for filling the blood gen to 99% and whoever gets that last 1% gets the major bulk of it. This is worse than in other events.

If BHVR is really so against every survivor in the match being rewarded for the event gen (which is silly, because again, team effort), why can't BHVR just give a crapton more BP when working on an event gen? There's no need for the act of finishing it to award any BP whatsoever.

A blood gen takes 2 full cans plus a few more drops to complete it. I keep seeing survivors run in and do those last two drops after someone else has done the first two full cans. They don't even try to wait for the first person to return, they snipe it. Why are events always designed like this?

This is a big big problem on Survivor side, yes. These gens are just overall problematic for both sides, there's issues with genrushing because of the cans and there's issues with Killers being able to pressure them due to that and a lack of actual gen perk options to help. It's just not good for anyone.

Nobody likes being slammed with genrush, and nobody likes being forced to slam gens only to have their hard work sniped by someone else when everything is designed to slow Survs down more. It just doesn't feel good. From either side.

This event definitely needs to be fixed sooner rather than later.
