Leveling while Queued Up

I think a massive QOL improvement would be giving us the option to level up characters we are not queued up as. For instance, right now I am awaiting a match as Freddy for a daily, but I have 1.5 million BP Id rather spend on a character I actually use, be it killer or survivor. But as of now the only way to do that is to have the character selected so you either have to be actively playing as them or not be queued up (as killer).

I think, even when we are locked in as a character we should be able to swap between all of them and level them up, but when we start the match we are who we originally queued up as

    You actually can do this!

    If you're queued up as one killer, you can swap to another killer while queued to spend BP on them. When you enter the lobby, you'll be the killer you queued as.

    To my knowledge, you can't swap from killer to survivor, though. It also doesn't really work on survivors, since there's no separate queue- you're just queued as survivor and you enter the lobby with whoever you're currently on. You can also swap them in the lobby, though, so that's not a problem.

    I think they're talking about once in a lobby, not the Looking for a Match area.
