I honestly do not like the Haste/Hindered stack nerf concept.

As someone who experimented and messed with Haste/Hindered builds, they're not THAT powerful. Sure old Made For This was a absolute menace on release and their recent incarnation is a necessary evil for our new killer of the month: The Ghoul, but Haste/Hindered builds are honestly the most niche and fun ways to play DBD. Nerfing the ability to stack speed kills the whole point of build variety.

If I want to run a meme build with Clown, I'd bust every single haste addon possible to see how fast I can catch up survivors, if I want to make the Killer's speed a living hell, boom, Champion of Light and Chemical Trap.

The thing is with Haste and Hindered perks and some addons is that it needs a setup in order to work, whether it's taking a deep wound hit or to light a boon up for a specific area on the map or to just basically hit someone. Combine that with some of the popular haste addons like Hope + MTF with a bit of Dark Theory and Blood Pact or Power of Two with a SWF buddy [and some leftover Blight Serums] and you'll be an Olympic sport. While for killer you can easily counteract this by literally doing the same like Machine Learning, Furtive Chase, Unbound and so much more or hit them with Nothing But Misery and the New Knockout to give yourself a bit of edge. [As long as survivors are not flying by gens with their speedy gen progression perks]

Honestly, if you want Haste and Hindered perks to be weaker for newcomers of the game, why not just just cut their numbers a bit…? Like make Hope have a 3/4/5% increase in speed instead of the usual 5/6/7%. The chase is usually the best part in DBD especially for good loopers, and haste and hindered can make the difference in a life or death scenario.

But we'll see how it goes in the PTB, and we'll voice our complaints there.

Thing is they are not really that good right now, but combining them make it they can never be that good…

If you prevent it, you can design perks around hindered/haste stronger, because it simply can't get out of hand, which is good imo.

Maybe Dark Theory can get a proper boost from its current useless 2%?
