"Survivors DCing when whole team's in dying state = DRAW" makes no sense

If a killer gives up because they can't find hiding survivors that aren't doing objectives after 10min you consider that a LOSS. But if a survivor gives up after all survivors are downed you consider that a DRAW? I would really like to understand the logic in that. These are the sort of ill conceived decisions that lead to all the tribalism in this game.

I have no issue with the 1st scenario being a LOSS but 2nd one should also be a LOSS. First of all, if all survivors are downed and have no perks to pick themselves back up or wiggle out, that means the game is over, they lost.

It's also very possible to snowball into a 2 to 4-man slug on certain killers, like a Honing Stone Trapper for example, but then have every intention to go hook everyone. It doesn't make sense that if the survivors DC before the killer has a chance to hook everyone it equals a DRAW but if they waited a little to be hooked it would then equal a LOSS.

This was not well thought out.
