Maybe you would see a drop in Survivor Abandoning.
If you removed Finisher Mori. Nobody wants to be Mori.
It's like people wanting to end game when End Game Collapse begins.
Nobody wants the other side to see victorious. Better to have screen show Sacrificed or Entity Displeased… and leave it at that.

Also remove the prompt that shows when it is available. It's like putting a carrot in front of a horse. You're instructing the player to do something.

What's the point in seeing a drop in survivors abandoning? literally no one cares whether lost opponent replaced by bots or not
It's not like disconnection or self hook sacrifice, this feature doesn't harm anyone, so is memento

im not sure what your point in
Your mad your being killed by a mori thats unique to every killer instead of being slugged to death or seeing the most repetitive hook animation..?

To be fair, by that point everyone has seen every Mori animations dozens of time and most people are sick of them. The novelty has gone away since now there's a Mori in most games.
I'm honestly not sure I've seen a single game not end in an abandon when the last Survivor gets downed/Moried, lots of people are just bored of Mori animations now and getting slugged by the Killer for several minutes because they want their Mori and don't want to risk a Hatch race.
The Finisher Mori had a lot more negative repercussions than good ones.

Everyone has seen the sacrifice on hook animation dozens of times as well.
And everyone includes the killer too. They have seen the Mori more than the Survivor, slugging for the 4k just so they can get a nori is extremely rare.

We had a chance to fix those repercussions, but the Community said they disliked the past iterations of Mori changes.
Now we are stuck with not great situations and Im am hoping to God, that BHVR will bring back the testing of Baskekit Unbreakable and the automatic ending of the games, once the Killer downs the last person.

in my opnion just automatically sacrifice the survivor once the hatch is closed but remove the offerings for it to keep it rng. Why you might ask? wel why should the survivor get a third chance and the game is ususally over anyways once the hatch is closed

For those asking about the difference between the hook animation and the finisher mori animation: one's 3rd person, the other is 1st person. That makes a huge difference (cf probably any paper about how the [narrative] perspective influences us).
I for one am sick of both and wouldn't mind if you could just leave as soon as there is no keyboard-input for you anymore . It changes absolutely zero about the game outcome just removes one of those irking instances. - And yes, a surv leaving in that way just skips the animation, so they are still counted as dead and are not replaced by a bot.
(though, I'd also say a killer should be able to abandon once the exit gates are open — and should have the option to just dip when all survs are in an exit gate and that being treated as though the survs left - here too, that would be counted as if the killer had waited out the timer.)

During the final mori animation, the survivor should be able to go to the endgame screen and look at loadouts, etc. They should even be able to click "Continue" and return to the menu to search for their next match.
The game is over. If the killer wants to watch it, they're welcome to, but no further input is needed from the survivor, so…

I love seeing Moris and always stay for them unless they're Plague or Legion, so speak for yourself OP. But I have no issue with people choosing to go next during it.
I do not however think it should count as a draw for Survivor in this case, it should count as a loss because they got Mori'd. They lost.
