Can we get an option to disable chat censoring?
The censoring is terrible in this game and for a Mature rated game I don't know why there's censoring at all, or at least why there's not an option to disable it in the settings.
This would be a nice option.

That's not a good reason for not having an option for it at least. The "sensitive" people will just keep it turn on.

blame the community and bhvr but also you have to blame sensitive people outside of this community since they're censoring the broader internet as a whole since they can't just turn off the monitor or do something else

They just need to add an option for it, it's not as in-depth as you're making it out to be

True, there's also a lot of cases where this system censors normal words and it's just annoying, option to turn it off would be nice.

I can't even say GG sometimes, or say "sorry for killing you"/"sorry for killing your friend." So many normal words are just censored for no reason. Even if that word is used in the game itself. Actually insane.

Make a game about literally hunting people and murdering them
Censor the word "kill"

I agree that the censoring should be removable via a toggle in the options. Stuff like racism and such is already bannable so this wouldn't affect anything.

Yeah its absurd, you cant even say some survivors names either.
At least make it optional, as I absolutely hate censorship ain an adult context (you have to be an adult to play this game) and I don't need words censored for me. I will do that for my child but I don't need someone doing it for me

You can speak around it, its also way easier to just speak nicely to people and avoid the trouble words.
