Pallet reconstruction in 2v8 makes killers who can't ignore pallets unviable
they can't make dead zones anymore, nor they can't break those fast enough, there is very few killers who is winnable in proper matches of 2v8

Someone else suggested rebuilt pallets should be fragile pallets and I think this is a good idea and a good compromise

I like the idea as it forces killers to actually win chases and kill and not just starve survivors to death

they didn't really hit a good balance, though.
pallet reconstruction is so easy to do that it lets survivors safe play the same material over and over to no punishment rather than a mistake actually costing the team.

Pallet rebuilding in regular mode would be obscene. And there are already maps that spawn with like 30+ pallets? (Saw map)

I actually counted the pallets on that map. There is only 25 :)

"win chase" isn't even an option for like 70% of killer roster, majority of killers have literally zero counter against pallets
Basically, forcing killers to actually win chase is equivalent of forcing killer players to only use high tier killer who can simply ignore pallets, it's not a great design and pretty sure it's not even fun for survivors because everyone uses uninteractive killers
The fundamental strategy of dbd is "starve survivors to death", which is still same in 2v8 because you can't waste time of two killers into a chase

The number of pallets should be changed if they wanna keep this mechanic, and rebuilding pallets should never come to 1v4 period end of. God Pallets exist. No need to be able to rebuild those. they stymie half the roster. Survivors should NEVER be that safe.

We shouldn't balance under that presumption though. Every killer in 2v8 deserves maximal viability, no?
