Allowing Players to Use Wesker in 2v8 Is... a Decision
Why would you allow a character to be played that can softlock both the killer and a survivor for an entire match? In what world does that make sense? Take him out until you fix him! There are plenty of other killers to play.

I think it is trapping a killer or survivor in a certain animation I presume?

The issue is that BHVR doesn't often care, which sucks. Went against an Albert Wesker once in 2v8, and the survivor he grabbed from his ability were both stuck in the same animation of Wesker about to hook the Steve. He was stuck like that for the whole match, to the point the killers and survivor had to DC as it went past EGC.

In this instance, it means the players get stuck, unable to perform actions, and must wait until one or both of them DC or the game server times out. It’s just short of a game breaking bug (everyone else in the game can still play normally. )

Why?
- Wesker is a very popular Killer.
- The problem does not happen that often.
If you wanna help solve it, make a bug report and put Logs every time it happens.

My guess is they hope 2v8 will incentives people to buy characters. So they won't even acknowledge there's any issue with a character playable in 2v8 because then there's less incentive for people to buy that character

I'm pretty sure there was reports about Wesker's bugs during the previous 2v8 yet it wasn't fixed I believe. It still occurs now which is even more annoying.

I just can't believe that something that was an issue and commonly happened last 2v8 is still an issue.

I know that is the case, because I made a few myself, its has still proven difficult to solve though.

Well, there is one solution that will prevent this problem from occurring… The devs have killswitched other killers/perks/addons/items for less. And they likely wouldn’t have to KS Wesker altogether, as the devs were able to block Houndmaster from being played in the winter event but not in the core mode.

We dont know the occurrence of other problems before that was Killswitched, I dont see what basis you can offer for doing that.
