Yes, you do get fragments when you complete a round.
Here's proof. You get five. Now, this isn't enough, and it's still not great, but you do get them.
Stop spreading the lie you don't get them anymore, you do.

Halving the amount is pretty significant. It really feels like you don't make progress with the new system. It was very easy to miss the rewarding of those 5 fragments, too, since the new system wasn't displaying the little bar illustrating XP to Fragments after a match.
Also, it seems there is a bug where people are not getting any Rift Fragments for XP: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/445614/no-rift-fragments-from-xp

I got that same notification a couple days ago. I haven't gotten a single one since. It has to be bugged.

It’s not a lie. If you have no active quests, you do not get rift fragments from xp. There is a bug report where other people have confirmed this. We’re not trying to confuse people, we’re trying to get a ######### bug fixed and ######### like this doesn’t help.

I agree it's not enough. The point of this post was to say you DO get it, not to say it's good you only get this much.

I realized the point. I was saying that it's very easy to miss because it's such a small amount and the game wasn't doing enough to show people they were even earning those Fragments. When you're not seeing noticeable progress and you're not getting that little pop-up with the bar that fills up to show XP = Fragments, then many players are going to understandably think they aren't earning any Fragments. They weren't lying, just mistaken, and it's because BHVR did a poor job implementing this system.
Plus, as I mentioned, there are people who aren't earning Fragments for XP, which adds to the confusion.

Unless today's update changed something, it practically never tells me when I earn 5 Fragments.
In the bug thread, JocelynAwakens says that players are rewarded 5 Fragments for earning 500 XP in trials. It sounds like it's supposed to be cumulative, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's bugged and it's on a per-trial basis rather than cumulative. Has anyone tested and made sure it is rewarding Fragments based on XP cumulatively?

I don't get why people say the rift progress gained from exp earned is halved. It isn't, it's the same. Before, it was 500 exp to get 1 fragment, and 10 fragments to level up. So 5000 exp to level up. Now it's 250 exp for 5 fragments and 100 fragments to level up… So 5000 exp to level up. At least the 250 exp per 5 fragments has been consistent for me ever since the new quest system dropped.
What is worse with this new system is the quests, they give pitiful amounts of progress compared to completing an entire page of a tome.

Yep, it does reward the 5 fragments comulatively for me - but only shows the five fragments if I also complete a quest in the trial (i.e. for the daily that coincided with a 500xp step i got 20 fragments). Otherwise they only show in the rift pass progress.

I don't think the progress is really an issue, it's just ppl are use to seeing the fragments on 1 page out of 4 instead of being spread out as much as it is between milestones, dailies and 12 weeks worth of challenges. Currently I'm at tier 51 and I've been playing pretty casually. Being able to knock out multiple challenges at once instead of 1 at a time is nice for a casual play time.

are all your quests and milestones complete? Because we’re not lying. I’ve completed all my quests, milestones and I get 50 fragments per day. 45 for the daily and 5 for xp. After that I get zero fragments point blank period. I took pictures of my progress and my xp going from 70 to 75 without earning a single rift fragment. That is 20k xp +.
you shouldn’t call people liars, even if you lucked out and are not bugged.

No, it's 500 XP for 5 Fragments. That's what I earn. If you're getting 5 Fragments per 250 XP, then that's a bug or something, because even a representative of DbD has said it's 500 XP for 5 Fragments:

it definitely bugged regardless because without an active quest you get 0 fragments no matter how much xp you earn.

First, 5 at the end of a match is not the same as from XP.
Second, if it is bugged as others are reporting, then it seems that it IS true as most players easily complete all three dailies in one match, so never see that 5 Rift Fragments.1 -
People did their math wrong in 99% of the cases. And none of those ever considered modes to give additional Rift fragments, which was stupid to begin with.

If it is indeed a bug, that explains everything! No wonder it seemed inconsistent. Has anyone opened a bug report yet? If not, I will. I don't think the Devs intended us to not get fragments every round, and they should buff it to 10 a round anyway - that's more sensible than 5.
