Changes to a popular killer in Dbd: The Legion

Good morning. I've played the game since 2018, watch Dbd content creators [with 10.000 hours] on a daily basis and I like both roles, killer and survivor, equally, which is why I never grow tired of playing it over these years. However, there are issues regarding the health of Dead by Daylight, regarding both survivor and killer sides, but today I want to focus on one specific character: The Legion. But before that, I want to show why this killer deserves more attention and reworks

Legion is one of the most played killers in the game, coming in 5th place according to the site Nightlight.com, and is the character with the most skins, proving that they're a very important part of the videogame and gets a lot of dedication towards that part of the design. But, despite all of that effort put in making those skins and inciting players to play them, they're still a D tier killer which very little going for them against survivors. That's why I propose three types of changes, including smaller patches, intermediate ones and more extensive modifications: Fundamental, Medium and Extensive changes.

• Fundamental changes:

* Increase Legion's movement speed while using their power from 5.2 m/s to 6 m/s. Making Legion's base movement speed while using their power 6 m/s will allow you to use their ability more variously, for instance using their power to close the distance with a survivor after breaking a pallet, pressuring a generator on the other side of the map and, the most important reason, to be able to chain hits more consistently, which is a good thing for the game, since it encourages Legion's mains to bother multiple players instead of focusing on one specific survivor and killing them as fast as possible (aka tunneling). Although this might sound strong, I need to remind you that Legion has several counters to their ability, including as follows: Baiting the killer to miss their attack (by going into a locker, running into them to mess with their POV, vaulting after they just vaulted a window or a pallet, aka, window tech or using exhaustion perks); Pre-running to prevent being inside Legion's reach; Stunning the killer out of their ability (whether it's by a pallet stun, Head-On or blinding the killer); Using any exhaustion perk to gain distance from the them; Preventing the vault by vaulting back and forth the survivors themselves (This prevents, for instance, the usage of the addon Iridescent Button for breaking pallets); Bodyblocking for a non hit survivor. For more Legion's counters, please watch the following video by Otzdarva:

There are also more videos about countering Legion, like these ones from the most skilled Legion main, Tatariu:

* Every action performed by The Legion during Feral frenzy (vaulting, kicking generators, opening lockers, closing the hatch, interacting with the gliff, snuffling boons and opening gates) should stop their power's gauge. Legion's ability has a very short duration, which is why is very important for them to use their time with caution and that's why this change is something a lot of Legion mains yearn for. If the power gauge were to stop during evey animation they do, they'd be able to multitask (kick a generator while chasing a survivor and still be able to get the hit, for example) and it wouldn't feel so punishing doing the objectives of the game while using their ability.

* During Feral frenzy, Legion can see scratch marks and pools of blood. Allowing Legion to see where the survivor went, specially if it's the first hit and they can't see the killer's instinct, will make playing them more smooth and won't shoulder such a burden whenever the player is using their power. For the sake of understanding, The Lich has the ability to "Fly" in which he moves at 6.92 m/s (faster than Legion, even after the buff), can go through pallets and windows really quickly (just like Legion) and doesn't have the drawback of not being able to see scratch marks and pools of blood, so why should Legion have that downside? If they're gonna have that disadvantage, at least give them an upper hand at the same level (fox example, The Spirit has the same drawback as Legion while using the Mother-Daughter Ring, but she can move at 7.04 m/s). These changes are mandatory and of extremely importance to Legion's QOL gameplay. The following modifications are just as necessary, but less urgent, so they can be put on hold after Legion gets the attention they deserve.

• Medium changes:

* Remove the black blur of the screen during the fatigue of the Feral frenzy. During the fatigue of Feral frenzy, Legion has their camera severely obstructed by a black blur, which is worse than Nurse's and Blight's (Legion's drawback is worse than the top 1 and top 2 killers in Dead by Daylight, without any positive rewards for it). This affects the killer's ability to concentrate on various parts of the screen at the same time because it prevents you from seeing what's happening on that part of the screen (PC and mobile players have it worse, since their screen are smaller than console players). Moreover, this disadvantage doesn't come with a benefit worthy of its effect, unlike Nurse or Blight who can, respectively, blink through objects and run really fast for a long period of time.

* Remove the pitch lock of the screen during the fatigue of Feral frenzy. Just like the black blur on the screen during the cooldown, Legion's camera is prevented from moving up or downwards, which is also a disability, since looking up or down is a major thing, specially in double floors, so being able to do so while wait for the fatigue to end is a timesaver.

* Picking up a survivor shouldn't deplete the power's gauge. Depleting the whole power gauge when performing a pickup action means, right now, that the killer will have to wait 15 seconds, minus the time taken to hook the survivor, to use their power again, which can be critical at some occasions: Getting flashlight/pallet stunned after picking up and not being able to punish the survivors is the worst case; Hooking a player within less than 5 seconds and having to wait another 10 seconds is really punishing for a killer who doesn't have a lot of mobility without their ability.

* Undetectable shouldn't affect the killer instinct detection. Because of this detail, Legion can't use undetectable perks properly, since it hinders their ability to detect a survivor's heart beat. If this is changed, it'll open a lot of possibilities for builds you can use with them.

• Extensive changes:

* Every time Legion hits a survivor during Feral frenzy, their cooldown and fatigue duration after canceling their power decreases by 1 and 0.1 seconds, respectively. This modification is not mandatory, but it encourages Legion's players to go after multiple hits and not just focus on one survivor. Also, it encourages the killers to hit as much survivors as they can, trying to achieve the 5th feral hit.

* Increase Legion's fatigue speed from 2.3 m/s to 2.8 m/s. The greatest weakness of Legion is their inability to chase survivors with their power. While The Ghoul has a walking speed of 3.68 m/s and can easily get on top of a survivor in a chase, Legion doesn't have the same ability, so making his fatigue movement speed close to Kaneki seems only fair.

* Increase the vaulting speed from 0.9 to 0.5 seconds. Legion's power was unique when they came to Dead by Daylight, the ability to vault windows faster and vault pallets was unprecedented. However, in 2025, this power is not solely theirs, since there are other characters who can also do that (like The Mastermind, The Ghoul and The Good Guy), so it's only natural that this characteristic of Legion's power should be better than everyone else's, since it was the pioneer. Legion's power is not strong, so this change will make them a lot more threatening in chase as well.

* Feral vaults counts as normal vaults and, hence, get influenced by vaulting perks. The majority of META (Most Effective Tactical Available) perks revolves around gen slow down perks, so why make other perks not work when the killer is in their power? I understand that Chucky, Kaneki and Wesker are strong killers, so making them stronger would be bad, but what about Legion? Make so that his power vault counts as a normal one and trigger perks like Superior Anatomy, Unbound, Bamboozle, Dark Arrogance, Fire Up and a lot of others. Also, make so that Unbound triggers whenever Legion vaults a pallet, just like Wesker.

* Decrease Legion's cooldown from 15 to 12.5 seconds. I'm very well aware that Legion just got a buff, but if I'm being honest, this buff isn't enough, not when there are killers that have a 10 second cooldown power (faster than Legion) that can go under pallets and through windows quickly (just like Legion) and right afterwards down the chased survivor (Legion, but only after hitting 5 consecutive hits in Feral frenzy) or when there is a killer who can move at 15 m/s after grabbing onto an object up to three times and has his power back after a 7.5 seconds of cooldown. Legion's buff? Not even close enough. To prevent the usage of the addon Scratched Ruler and have a 7.5 second cooldown power, nerf this addon to decrease 2.5 seconds instead of 5.

* Allow Legion to hit a survivor in the mending state up to one time without leaving the Feral frenzy. The worst part of playing Legion is that they often can't rely on any tactics of their own, only exploiting the mistakes of the survivors. One crucial example is that they can get body blocked by an already hit survivor to prevent that Legion gets a chained hit and there's no counter play to that. My solution is that the killer is able to hit a survivor that has already been hit by a Feral slash one more time, just like when they hit a survivor on hook and don't lose their power. This will not count as a successful hit, but will make it so that the killer and the survivor hit lose collision and Legion can walk through them to successfully make a Feral slash on another player. If the killer hits the same survivor a total of three times, they instantly enter in fatigue and their power gauge is completely lost. This might sound overboard, but remember that Legion has several other counters to their ability, just like listed in the beginning.

* Change Smiley Face Pin's effect. Make it so that this addon has a bigger impact on Legion's power, since Blindness is not very good. My idea for a new effect, based on the rarity of the addon, is to reduce the cooldown after hitting a Feral slash. This effect is not very good, since the cooldown is already short, but it's better than what it is now.

* Change Etched Ruler's effect. Same as Smiley Pin, this addon isn't very impactful, so instead of the 60 seconds of Obliviousness, make so that this addon increases the vaulting speed from 0.5 seconds to 0.4 during Feral frenzy. This will not only make some room for fun builds of perks, but it'll help newer survivors who often don't like the Oblivious effect.

* Change Mural Sketch's effect. After the Legion's buff, this addon felt mediocre, since it'd only gain 0.08m/s of speed boost per hit. So, my idea is that this addon affects players during chase, like, survivors that are in the mend state have a slower vaulting speed (maybe 1.5% slower) until they mend themselves. This will help Legion in chase and make them more threatening.

* Change Defaced Smiley Pin's effect. Its effect is pointless, since the Mangled debuff only works if you're healing, but, against Legion, you should practically NEVER heal, since they can injure you again and that's it, they're a normal M1 killer. In order to address that, its effect should be something in the lines of receiving an Undetectable status and their breathing is now completely silent after hitting a Feral slash.

* Change Never-Sleep Pills' effect. This right now is mostly a meme addon since its drawback is worse than its buff. I still think that bringing a negative status for the killer is a good idea, but it should be more like this: Legion's base movement speed while using Feral frenzy is boosted to 6.5 m/s, but they lose 0.1 m/s after each hit and, at the end of Feral frenzy, their fatigue is now the original pre-buff 3 seconds and removes the reduced fatigue bonus after each successful Feral slash (the fatigue cooldown will be 3 seconds, no matter how many hits Legion gets).

* Improve Julie's Mix Tape's effect. The recharge of the power gauge is a fine outcome, but it's really restricted. To fix that, make it so that every time the killer is stunned (by any means), the power gauge is completely restored. It could also trigger whenever Legion breaks a pallet.

* Change Joey's Mix Tape's effect. It's not an exaggeration to say that Joey's mix tape is Legion's worst addon. Hemorrhage is not a strong debuff, so instead of that, its reaction could be that every survivor being revealed by the killer instinct screams every 5 seconds and interrupts their actions. Also, since it's a rare addon, it could receive the secondary addition of increasing the detection radius of Feral frenzy by 10 meters.

* Change Stolen Sketch Book's effect. This is not a bad addon, but it's not good either. In order to make it better, it should make it so that survivors hit will a Feral slash get the Hindered status until they're fully mended and, thus, make less distance then they would be able to. I think maybe 3.5% is good enough.

* Change Stylish Sunglasses' effect. It's reaction could be that Legion doesn't need to hit a survivor to reveal their killer instinct. While it's not a strong direct result in the in-game experience, it could change the way Legion uses their power, since it could be used to find hiding survivors.

* Change The Legion's Pin's effect. It's the same problem with Defaced Smiley Pin's outcome, survivors playing against Legion should NEVER heal, so it'd be pointless to make them Broken since they wouldn't heal anyways. This addon has some gimmicks, fox example paired with Thanatophobia, but that's it, not good for a rare addon. In other to fix that, it's result could be similar to Chucky's power, where he confuses survivors with random steps during Hidey-Ho mode, but, for Legion, it could trigger random heart beats sounds all over the map when they use Feral frenzy, confusing survivors and making them unaware of Legion's presence.

* Change Susie's Mix Tape's effect. While is not the worst addon, it's power is really lacking since it was supposed to be a blue addon. So, instead of increasing the detection radius of Feral frenzy by 20 meters (since Joey's mix tape does something similar), it should be a weaker version of Frank's mix tape, giving a 10% boost in every action performed during Feral frenzy. It wouldn't count vaulting, but if you, the developers, think it wouldn't be so strong, then it could influence vaulting.

* Improve Frank's Mix Tape's effect. The boost in kicking actions' speed is good, but it should be stronger, since it's a purple addon. So, make it so that the 20 % boost is included to all activities performed during Feral frenzy, just like Susie's, but with a stronger effect (it wouldn't affect vaulting speed, only if the devs find it balanced)

* Improve BFF's effect. This addon is not completely bad, but is very underwhelming for a super rare addon. The haste status is a nice idea, just like the gaining stacks to activate it, but it's mostly unused throughout the game. So, first, make so that Legion gains stacks for each successful hit during Feral frenzy, making it so that the first hit gains 2 stacks, the second 3, the third 4, the forth 5 and the fifth 6. When Legion gets 5 stacks and a generator is completed, they get a permanent speed boost of 1.25% movement speed (0.05 m/s). To illustrate, if the Legion charges the addon with 5 stacks before the first generator is ready, when the gen pops, they move at 4.65 m/s at base movement speed and at 6.05 m/s during Feral frenzy and the 5 stacks are consumed. When the second generator is completed and they had another 5 stacks, they move at 4.7 m/s at base movement speed and 6.1 m/s during Feral frenzy. When all of the generators are finished and the killer managed to get the 5 stacks before each completed generator (25 stacks total), they now move at 4.85 m/s at base speed and 6.25 m/s during Feral frenzy. The top speed Legion can get, using BFFs and Never-Sleep Pills, after 5 consecutive hits and after all the gens popped, is 7.45 m/s (6.5 + 5*0.05 + 5*0.14), with 3 seconds of fatigue (due to Never-Sleep Pills' results). If you think that's overpowered, remember that Kaneki can move at almost double the speed and has a 2.5 seconds fatigue cooldown throughout the entirety of the match.

* Change Stab Wounds Study's effect. For a super rare addon, its power is not very impactful on the gameplay, so I'm proposing a massive change. Make it so that it has the combined and improved effects of both Mural Sketch's and Stolen Sketch Book's effect. It'd go probably like this: Survivors put in the mend state after a Feral slash have their vaulting speed reduced by 3% until they mend and players hit with a successful Feral slash have the Hindered status of 7% until they're fully mended. This will not only make Legion's power deadly in chase, but will open their possibilities of play styles and creative ways to use their ability.

That's all of the changes that I think will help improve Legion's performance and promote them to a C tier, maybe even B tier. They won't be a strong killer, not when there are characters that can teleport through objects, but they'd be at least an average killer. Thank you for you time and for further information about Legion, check @Tatariu 's videos and ideas for this beloved killer.

I love legion, but there has to be some give and take with how we buff them, all of these together are WAY too heavy handed, I think you've put a lot of thought into this but havn't really thought about how this would be to play AGAINST, especially as a casual player.

You want to remove all counterplay from this killer when people already hate the mending simulator (I really don't like the being able to hit a survivor twice idea)? I don't understand what the issue with bodyblocking is? It's another survivor using their resources to protect a team member.

Also regarding vaulting, I thought their vault does get effected by perks?

I honestly think the issue is their addons mainly rn, I really like the spot they are in after the buffs I just don't understand the self mend to get debuffs, I prefer'd the old system of on 2nd hit onwards apply debuff.

Of course I'm talking from a casual perspective, not a comp player one.

Their vault speed isn't affected by perks but their vault will apply stuff like Bamboozle for example. This is actually on purpose though because around the time of Wesker's release, bamboozle used to increase their vault speed but this was changed to keep things consistent/not cause issues with other perks in the future. I don't think this should be changed

Some of these basekit changes are way, way too much. Legion just got a buff and honestly, I feel like he is in a pretty decent state now, especially for being arguably the easiest killer to play in the game.

Increasing his movement speed to 6 M/S would be broken, since it would allow him to down survivors on his 4th frenzy attack far more often, which would be awful to go against. Especially if the duration is also increased. Decreasing the cooldown of Feral Frenzy even more is also unnecessary in my opinion.

Lastly, the buff to his cancel cooldown would be way too much as well. He could just cancel his power right next to a survivor and the survivor would gain very little distance. It again would be awful to go against. I think these changes would make Legion even more hated by survivors than original Skull Merchant.

Legion could definitely use buffs but I think this is really overboard.

Increasing Legion's Feral Frenzy speed is something I don't see the need for, to my understanding good Legions can already do a lot off a single Feral Frenzy, and increasing speed further makes things less interactive for the other side because FF becomes even more of a free hit than it already is. Same goes for increasing the vaulting speed, Legion is already better at vaulting than Chucky/Wesker/Ghoul because FF allows for more freedom of movement than their powers.

Seeing scratch marks/blood during FF is unnecessary. Vecna doesn't have the same disadvantage because Fly is purely for repositioning, and Spirit with ring gets to move faster because she can't see the Survivors during her power either and can't chain hits. This change also doesn't really serve to make Legion better as much as it serves to lower the skillfloor, which isn't really needed on such a popular Killer.

Removing most downsides of fatigue is a similar way. It doesn't really let good Legions unleash their potential so much as it lets bad Legions get away with sloppy play, mistakes, and bad gamesense.

IMO if these changes were implemented, Legion would be stronger, but also a much shallower character. It does do a good job demonstrating why Legion is so hard conceptually to buff, though.

Finally, this isn't important to the rest of your post, but "meta" never stood for "most effective tactic available". It comes from "meta" in other parts of language (eg. "metaphysics") to refer to mean something of a higher kind, so "metagame" means "game of the game", eg. what choices people are making in perks. People started using "the meta" as shorthand for whatever was most popular in the metagame, and someone made up the "Most Effective Tactic Available" acronym afterwards as a retroactive explanation for what "meta" means. It has absolutely no validity in the etymology of "meta", which dates back to ancient Greek. I will die on this molehill

Undone works on them at least, which is nice combo'd with bamboozle. I can't recall who mentioned it today but it was a good idea

I'll explain comment by comment as to why I think these changes are necessary and will not make Legion op: Legion's ability is quite unique, allowing them to do everything the survivors can do and put them in the mend state. Now I'm gonna switch to the survivors POV: They're a killer that can hit you really easily, but then what? It's not like they have another ability to down you quickly, Legion relies on basic mind games to down any survivor and it's not easy to catch a player if they play well. Now, you might say that if Legion has 5 hits, they can down you with ease, but let me illustrate something: Legion's movement speed is 5.2m/s, whereas the survivor's is 4.0m/s; the killer's duration is 11 seconds, meaning that they can cover 57.2 meters, but the player can cover 44 meters in that time, meaning that the both need to be within 13.2 meters apart from each other for a hit to be possible. This is not much, considering that RNG is very determinating on that aspect (The survivors can start running before Legion can even get a line of sight) and it needs to happen 5 consecutive times. On top of that, new killers can easily miss the attack, not path efficiently aaand get bodyblocked, meaning that the 5th hit is almost a urban legend among high and low skill players. Now, I agree that the hitting twice might be dispensable, since it'd make some people upset, but survivors already have everything at their advantage, so increasing Legion's speed is a must for them to be able to get the 5th hit consistently (which is good for the game for the reasons I said before). The hate towards Legion is childish and the reason why they don't get the love they deserve. If you're still unconvinced, I suggest you watch the videos of best Legion main (9000 hours on Legion alone), Tatariu.

Brilliant changes. After these are implemented the next change should be that all 4 survivors start the match on hook against Legion and they only get to try to kobe if they brought a luck offering or Slippery Meat.

Let me tell you why this is a good change (for Legion): The Meta perks on Dbd has always been generators slow down perks, so it's a effort of the developers to invent new types of effects, like haste, vaulting, undetectable and so on. Would you rather play against a four gen slow down killer or a niche build killer? If these changes come to the game, "oh noo, Legion can vault faster, they're gonna hit me with their power :(" So what? They'd still be able to get the hit anyways, but now they feel nicer to play as and wouldn't change how they are played against (if anything, it only improves how matches go, since instead of Ruin, Pop, Corrupt and Pain Res; it'd be like Bamboozle, Dark Arrogance, Superior Anatomy and Unbound). Still, this should be a Legion-only mechanic, since they're the weakest of all the vaulting type killers (Wesker, Chucky and Kaneki)

I haven't read all buffs proposed in op, but those I read are too much on their own... Every single one of them is too much on its own.

I don't think Legion needs any buffs. They are quite good, and not every killer need to be S or A tier

A lot to talk about this comment, but first I'll explain why Legion's current state isn't good for the killer gameplay: Legion's can get countered through several different ways, so making them move at 6 m/s would make them feel nicer to play and actually have a chance against good survivors. Legion at high MMR is unplayable, since survivor can prevent the 5th hit through these counters: Stunning the killer out of their power, running far away preventively (Legion needs to be within 13.2, 17.28, 20.16 or 23 meters from the survivor with Legion's current speed depending of which hit they're currently on and 22, 26.88, 29.76 or 32.64 meters if they'd move at 6 m/s), bodyblocking for other survivors, using exhaustion perks and changing floors in certain maps. Even with the 6 m/s buff, survivors have a lot going for them and I'm not even counting the techs survivors can do to throw killers off their game and make them wiff.

Secondly, reducing Legion's cooldown won't change how survivors play against them, but it'll make less punishing for newer survivors to make mistakes like missing an attack (even high skill players sometimes miss)

Lastly, the buff to their cooldown would only be impactful on the last hit, when Legion already downed a survivor. The more hits they successfully make, the less they need to wait when they get the 5th hit. If Legion only hits one survivor, their cooldown is now 2.3 seconds when they cancel. If the killer would hit a single survivor and go after them, the survivor gains 11.88 meters from getting hit plus 1.15 meters gained from the reduced speed of the fatigue. The lowest pallet density of the game is one pallet per 10 squared meters, so this distance gained is more than enough to reach safety.

Legion is one of the most popular killers because they have the lowest skill floor and nonexistent skill ceiling, meaning even baby can play them + even though they are one of the worst killers in the game, they seem very oppressive thanks to bad players.

Honestly, please no to any buffs

  • idi_007
    idi_007 Member Posts: 73

Well, I hate to sound repetitive, but I'll say it again: Legion's movement speed buff is necessary for multiple reasons, like: Getting the 5th hit more consistently, since Legion can't do anything once the survivor is already injured; Allows them to use their power for mobility, which is something the current Legion doesn't have a lot; Balances them to be more in pair with a lot of killers who are far stronger and move far faster than them; Makes them more fun to play, since most of Legion mains just want to run fast and stab people. Increasing the vaulting speed is a good addition to Legion's arsenal because it'd allow them to use their power when chasing an already injured survivor and give Legion more of a window to get a down through other ways besides hitting 5 times, ability that, although strong, isn't very common (besides, even if Legion's already better at vaulting than Wesker/Chucky/Kaneki, they are far stronger then the speedy killer, so, please, BHVR, buff Legion). Seeing scratch marks during Feral frenzy should be a given, purely because there's no rational reason as to why Legion shouldn't see scratch marks during their power and it can be very bewildering in closed maps (Scratch marks are vital to find a survivor that are not in line of sight and Legion has that disability for no good reason). Vecna's ability to Fly is to catch up with the survivors, increasing his speed and it served in my comment as an example of to why not seeing scratch marks isn't something Legion should suffer from. Spirit can't see the survivors, but survivors can't see her either, so that's not a good argument (plus, this served only as another example). Removing the fatigue's downsides is another reason as to why Legion shouldn't have those downsides in the first place. Nurse has that blur in her screen from using a overpowered ability of going through walls and Blight has that drawback from moving at 9.2 m/s, whereas Legion has that disadvantage from using their power that makes them move at 5.2 m/s. The numbers don't add up. Lastly, I didn't know that origin of "meta" word, thank you for telling me.

Undone does indeed work on Legion, but only if they vault a window, whereas Wesker can activate it through vaulting a pallet. This should work on both Legion and Wesker.

my argument about not buffing them is that they are a killer with too low skill floor and nonexistent skill ceiling to be worth of a buff

    Those changes removes survs counterplay.

Legion have fast speed, which is countered if survs spreads and move. Increase this speed removes that counterplay, and makes down with chain hits almost guarantee.

Legions power gauge is one of limiting factor of his power, survs using pallets and windows to slow them down is a counterplay in case of depleting the gauge.

Legion rely on killer instinct that already counter lockers in case of searching for survs, and his power is designed to chain hit. Allowing them to see also scratch marks and pools of blood, means they can track, with high speed, most vulnerable survs (the ones that was just hit) and ignore healthy for chain hits.

All those changes removes surv counterplay, and makes almost guaranee down with each power use.

Okay, let's divide it bit by bit. These changes don't remove >all< survivors counterplays, just weakens one and removes another. The one that is weakened is the distance, but it's not entirely removed. For instance, Legion's ability to pressure multiple survivors still relies on their mistake, either by grouping up, mending within their range, or giving the killer free hits. But they still can pre-run to avoid getting chained hit. The one that is removed is the ability to bodyblock, which is mainly used by good survivors to prevent the Legion getting a down, which, in most cases, isn't game changing, since, in avarage, you only get one Frenzy down per game (with the new buff, since this statistic is lower right now). Even with these counters being changed, there are still a lot more, just like I said in the post (I'll explain them again: Baiting the killer to miss their attack (by going into a locker, running into them to mess with their POV, vaulting after they just vaulted a window or a pallet, aka, window tech or using exhaustion perks); Pre-running to prevent being inside Legion's reach; Stunning the killer out of their ability (whether it's by a pallet stun, Head-On or blinding the killer); Using any exhaustion perk to gain distance from the them; Preventing the vault by vaulting back and forth the survivors themselves (This prevents, for instance, the usage of the addon Iridescent Button for breaking pallets).

Next, the locker tech isn't something that needs to be used to hide from Legion, but instead to prevent them from getting the hit, since non aware killers will swing as they see a surv enter a locker, missing the hit and entering fatigue.

Also, if the problem is Legion's ability to quickly hit a survivor and track them down instantly through scratch marks and pools of blood, my solution is to make it that pools of blood aren't visible during Feral frenzy, only scratch marks. That way, Legion won't know which path leads to the survivor just hit and which leads to a healthy survivor. What do you think?

Finally, as I said, getting a down with their power isn't something as reliable as you might think, several conditions must be required for that to happen (I listed them previously and I'll explain it again: Legion's movement speed is 5.2m/s, whereas the survivor's is 4.0m/s; the killer's duration is 11 seconds, meaning that they can cover 57.2 meters, but the player can cover 44 meters in that time, meaning that the both need to be within 13.2 meters apart from each other for a hit to be possible. This is not much, considering that RNG is very determinating on that aspect (The survivors can start running before Legion can even get a line of sight and it's very dependable of good maps, since there are maps that are so huge that it isn't possible for Legion to get from point A to B quickly, for example, Mother's Dwelling map with 200 squared meters) and it needs to happen 5 consecutive times. On top of that, new killers can easily miss the attack, not path efficiently aaand get bodyblocked, meaning that the 5th hit is almost a urban legend among high and low skill players.) To sum up, Legion might be easy to play as, but it's also really easy to counter, so balancing that is something that I wanted to do by suggesting these changes. I hope you have a good day

I just added videos to explain how you can counter Legion, if you aren't convinced only because of my arguments, please watch these videos

The post is getting cold with comments, so I'll explain with more details my counterarguments. Not seeing scratch marks and pools of blood while using their power only happens with Legion and with Spirit, but only if she's using her Iridescent addon. Every other killer in the game doesn't have that disability: Blight can get on top of a survivor with a speed higher than Legion's and still see scratch marks, same with Wraith, Wesker, Kaneki, Chucky, Nurse, Oni, Billy... All of which have a better power and better mobility than Legion's. Instead of trying to explain why this killer should be able to see scratch marks, try to explain why they shouldn't. There's no argument. Legion moves fast? Other characters move faster. This killer can vault windows and pallets? Other killers can do that as well. They already have detection with their power? So you're telling me that Legion can't detect survivor's marks just so that the killer can get another type of detection? Doesn't make sense. By the way, other killers have detection with the killer instinct and can still see scratch marks (Example: Wesker). Next, the fatigue's downside shouldn't be like that, it's bugged. So, leaving at that would be neglecting the game. Furthermore, it doesn't makes sense that Legion should have that downside, since their mobility, isn't as strong as the other killers (for instance, Chucky has no visual drawback from using his power and he's still a 3rd person killer. Good morning.
