Falsely reported by a streamer and her friends?
Hi I just played a game on survivor with a streamer and her 2 friends. I do not know these people, I was the 4th random player.
Basically they all left me to die on the hook and only unhooked me in the late second stage. So, I was hanging up there for a while. 1 of them was doing a gen, and the other 2 were messing with the killer running around.
They randomly turned on me and kept telling the killer to kill me (the killer was watching her stream too). Then after he did kill me, the killer let them all do gens and leave for free. They all reported me and made me out to sound like a bad guy.
Do people actually get reported and banned for this kind of false reporting? It seemed like they actively were trying to make an enemy out of the 4th player and probably do it a lot. I'm just really frustrated by the whole thing. I wish there was a way to see if you're in a group with a duo or trio. Felt really unfair.

It makes me a bit sad to say I guess I just need to keep an eye out for "TTV" streamer names in my lobbies, and dodge these people.

From what you said here, it sounds like they were working with the killer. Working with the killer is against the rules. Players love to claim "I'm reporting you" in chat. Sometimes it seems as common as players saying "gg."
I hope that doesn't happen to you again, because it is one of the most unfun things in the game when teammates work against you. If it does happen, there are steps you can take to report them:
That link takes you to a list of reportable offenses and explains what's required for the report.
