Do you think that Slenderman could ever realistically join Dead by Daylight?
Hello everyone, with the recent Five Nights at Freddy's chapter officially letting us play as Springtrap for the first time ever in the fog, it really opens a lot of doors for more iconic internet horror legends, like the Slenderman who is an iconic internet horror legend who took YouTube and the Creepypasta fandom by storm back in his heyday, being in the same boat with Five Nights at Freddy's when they both took the internet by storm, Slenderman is one of the staples of internet horror and could be really interesting to see as a killer as it would mark for the first time ever that a internet/creepypasta character joins the fog.
Do you think that the Slenderman could likely join the fog in Dead by Daylight or do you think it's impossible?

What would it do besides teleporting?

Supposedly the creator of Marble Hornets is in talks with BHVR but I imagine we won't know anything past that unless it happens.

I think he'd be status effect killer with a teleport, in lore, being near him makes you feel ill & hallucinate

How would that translate into dbd? Be like how Doctor was, where he would passively increase madness on survivors?
Would it then only allow hurting survivors that are at a level of "madness"? That would be a lot like old Freddy.

I'd be happy to see him here!
Maybe making it so looking on him starts affecting you with a special negative effect?
And maybe adding the pages mechanic as an additional objective (for example, you have to do 4 gens and collect all 8 pages)

How would that work with the survivor 3rd person camera? Will it be like ghost face reveal whete both sides question it at times?

Maybe something with a boil over effect where it makes you swerve

He could just be a part of the power instead of the killer itself as well. Kate was big in slender the arrival. So making them a usual killer who crawls similar to chucky with 3rd person and a leap maybe. And slender might come in as a part of a hallucination or mori. Slender wouldnt chase on his own if he didnt have to. Thats why he has the proxys.

idk… who owns slenderman again?
I always assumed he would be the 3rd stalk killer.
but you have to avoid looking at him directly instead of what happens with ghostface

Yes if they get around IRL issues.
His power could definitely involve "reverse-revealing" kind of mechanic where looking at the killer allows him to use his deadly power on you or build up a negative effect.

Realistically they could, its more of if they'd want to and how he'd play. Personally, we like something like the reverse reveal mechanics people have been suggesting.

I've always wanted to see a killer with that kind of mechanic. One of the biggest things survivors can do to counter a killer is to look at them and read their movements. If there was a killer that punished you for looking at them I thing that would be an interesting mechanic.
