Why do killers again get almost no cakes?!
It's the same problem like last year. I just spend 500k bloodpoints on a killer and got like 9 cakes. But then a round after I spend like 270k bloodpoints on a survivor and got 13 cakes and 7 anniversary items. How is that fair? Survivors get special items while Killers don't even get any meme anniversary addon like with the Halloween Event. And now they even get more cakes.

idk, I spent ~600k on a surv and got 8 cakes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Don't think it depends on Killer vs Surv. There just aren't alot of cakes going around.

For some reason you get significantly less cakes compared to earlier years on both.

Yeah, doesn't matter who you play as, there's not much celebration to be had in terms of BP offerings. It feels like every year there are fewer and fewer on the Bloodwebs.

my best bet - maybe to encourage people to play survivor more during the event? idk tho i'm just spitballing

This was from using the bulk BP system for 3 prestige levels on Springtrap...
That's a little more than 1 cake per bloodweb on average.

I wonder if it's more of an issue with the manual vs bulk bloodpoint spending. I was doing manual at first and got almost nothing. Then I did two prestige levels on wraith with bulk spending and got 95.

Maybe? I was holding off on leveling mine up beyond P3 because I knew I'd wanna dump alot of BPs once those cakes came. Didn't even occur to me to manually look for cakes until after I hit the button. Now Im starting to think maybe I made the right decision.

Last year, I got an average of 60-65 cakes per prestige level on Killer. This year, I got 25 cakes by leveling from 11 to 50, then 30 cakes from 1 to 50, so it definitely seems a lot lower.

I did some bulk spending on killer and had about 5 million BP left from the old tomes and saved up another 5 million. I went through 9 prestiges: 5 of them 1 prestige at a time, and 4 prestiges in one go using bulk spending (200 levels at once).
The results: 454 total
- Lowest: 45 cakes
- Highest: 56 cakes
- Average: 51 cakes per prestige when bulk spending
So if anyone's wondering, bulk spending seems pretty solid for event item drops.
The only thing I’m really wondering is… why is literally no one throwing cakes?

I got 2 cakes for 20 levels as survivor. It was the highest levels to prestige. Its just very few cakes being given out. Which means i wont use any of course :)

Spent 1mil on Legion and got 27 cakes, same with Spirit. Sounds like rng being rng

There's an issue with P100 bloodwebs, they spawn way too little atm. Levelling characters up gets me plenty but my Claudette is struggling to break even.

Because everytime there's an event killers tend to hard tunnel alot. Why would people waste their cakes knowing there's a good chance the match will be terrible?

If your mindset is, “Why should I use cakes if the next match might not go well?” That might be a sign it's time to take a short break from the game. It's totally understandable to feel frustrated, especially with tunneling, but going into an event expecting a negative experience can really take the fun out of it.
From my own experience, I run into hard tunneling maybe once every 15 matches. It also seems like the term “tunneling” is used more broadly these days even in matches where the killer has hooked others in between, or when a survivor on death hook chooses to bodyblock and gets targeted afterward. In those cases, it's not always tunneling.

And every time theres an event survivor seal team 6 come out of the woodwork, whats your point? Your mindset says you should take a break. I barely see any hard tunnelling, though it seems every survivor making these types of comments calls everything and anything "tunnelling" at this point.

It happens every event. It's not me expecting a negative experience. It's simply the reality of the situation. If I know there's a high likelihood of this why would I reward that behavior? Which isn't to say it's a one sided problem. Survivors tend to sweat really hard during events too.
You're right. Lots of survivors turbo sweat during events. Just one more reason not to burn cakes. I'll never understand why someone acknowledging reality means they need to take a break.

I mean I can't vouch for this year but last year I left the event with 1.5k cakes on my huntress around 900 or so on my nurse and 500 on my Freddy. That's only playing 3 days a week. Hopefully this year is the same as last for me at least

Something I’ve been thinking about: if you’re jumping into queue already expecting a bad match, why even play at that point? That honestly sounds like people playing a game they are not enjoying anymore.
Yeah, tunneling is definitely more common lately and it sucks, but at the same time, a lot of survivors are also playing super efficiently. Is that necessarily a bad thing?
It just feels like both sides are under pressure and it creates this constant cycle of stress. But if people are already in a negative mindset before the match even starts, how can anyone really enjoy the game?

Still need to farm BP for cakes for later use. Had I been thinking ahead I'd have stock piled BP in advance and not bothered touching the game during the event. I still might not bother playing. Just collect the daily logins and get the few cakes that I can.
