Give solo q players the possibility to see killer builds before the game has ended
Something that I thought of quite some time now.
When you play solo q and you are dying anything other than last, why can't you see the killer build in the postgame lobby? Sometimes stuff happens and you want to check what the perk or addon was.
You basically would have to wait the whole rest of the game while you as a solo player certainly cannot tell anyone in this round the perks and/or addons of the killer as there is no ingame voice chat. Which is the basic idea of hiding them, I get that.
But a solo player is exactly that: solo.
So the suggestion: Make killer builds in solo q visible for the player who already died so they can check and just play their next round. Thank you. :)

At least show Add-Ons. Most people can figure out Add-Ons but how am I supposed to learn new Killers if I don't know how their Add-Ons work and I don't feel like waiting most of the time.

I get that BHVR wants the game to be mysterious and moody (in some sense) still, but competitive games don't have time for that.
Delete the pre-matchmaking lobby screen, lock builds once you're matched, lay everyone's cards out, and show their names/ping. In addition, add comms.
Otherwise, let it be casual.

Would be nice

It's because a solo q survivor might have a streamer teammate, and they could tell the streamer what the killer's build is. A lot of streamers that have their streamer name as their DBD character name.

I can agree with this.

This would be abused by SWF teams that would tell their teammates the killer's perks after they die to help them win.

I was thinking about it, but seeing killers in lobby, killer perks etc. would just cause people to consta leave lobby. Can't imagine a single mentaly healthy person that would go against Nurse with 4 slowdowns rather than leave and go different lobby.

Maybe read first before commenting. Op clearly said for soloq when you are alone and dead. There is no way to abuse it.

Two possible ways to abuse it:
1. You soloqueue and get out into a match with a 3 man SWF. The soloqueue dies and puts the killers build in the chat. One member of the SWF dies and reads the build from the chat to his teammates.
2. All soloqueues on the same platform add each other as friend pregame, once the first one does they DM the rest the build.

Okey, but I don‘t think this would be a problem - maybe a minor inconvenience. I also doubt that this will happen more often than one out of thousand matches.

I really like the suggestion. it highlights a broader issue in solo queue: lack of access to basic information. Letting solo players view killer builds after dying would save time and clarify what happened, especially when something unexpected throws the match. It’s not about gaining an edge, just understanding the game you were part of.
More generally, solo queue could use passive tools that SWFs share naturally → like a basekit version of Kindred to show teammate positions and the anti-camp meter. It wouldn’t erase the SWF advantage but would make solo play less punishing.
Right now, some perks like "Hex: Third Seal" or heavy stealth disproportionately hurt solo players. And it makes balancing killers or mechanics tricky, because survivors aren’t all playing under the same conditions.
If DBD wants to support both casual and competitive players long-term, improving the solo experience isn’t just helpful: it’s necessary.

If the devs add the feature of seeing the build early then SWF teams will take advantage of it even if it is added for solos. The devs give solos and SWF the same features, genius. You need a history lesson.

no. data can also be streamed, or in chats outside of game.

If the devs would add this they’d make that when your whole party is dead, you can see the killers perks. There is no way to abuse it and even when the survivors would know the perks, it‘s not a big deal.

To you and the other two or three ppl who read it wrong obviously:
The endgame lobby. The ENDGAME LOBBY. When you are solo q AND DEAD.
Just so you don't need to wait or spectate for 10 more minutes (or longer) just to be able to look at the killer build you usually cannot tell to anyone else when playing solo.
No one said that it is a good idea to show builds before the start of the match ._.

this would be nice, I'd love to see where I went wrong without waiting for the match to end.

I don't think they've ever made changes directly around SWF or solo for what players see post-trial. I'm not even sure they can coding-wise.
The last change somewhat like this was globally blocking killer builds until all survs were sacrificed or escaped. But that was for everyone. So an all or nothing change.

Shares discord link in game lobby,
Anxway whats this big difference between survivor and survivor i keep heraing about? Ingame there isnt a difference netween "solo and swf".
Id say just be honest and admit you just want survivor buffs, theres no shame in it. Survivors want the results of good comms usage by good players in highskill teams, without putting in the work.(Please dont tell me theres no difference in an aura being spoonfed and "callout/map knowledge)
Give em permanent bond and some ping/chat - wheel tools and be over with it. Then be amazed when its still not enough and killers still need to be comensated.
