Generators are pure madness

A whole 400 hours?

It's exactly about MMR. As long as it's very very low, you can indeed have the rather chill games. However when you continue ''winning'' your games, it will cross the cap and will begin matching player with more serious opponents. From that point, no matter how many times you ''lose'', either intentionally or not, it will consider player ''experienced'' enough and will keep matching with the same pool of players over and over.

Well, that means that statistically you kill 2,5 survivor every game, where's the problem? I'm og killer player with 2,5k hrs and my kill rate is 73 % (bit higher in reality as I give hatch quite often and sometimes when they give up I become friendly). :D

Gens do feel like they are moving faster, but it could just be my imagination lol.
Regardless, I like longer chases, so I play killers who are good at chases, and then stack an overkill amount of gen regression. Surge, Eruption, Pop and Pain. lol
Its also satisfying hearing the BOOM everytime.

The problem mostly affects the weaker killers. The new survivor spawn allows to pressure all 4 if you guess correctly where are they in the first few seconds. And even then that generator won't be contested because as soon as you cahes one, the others will go back and finish it fast. If you have good map traversal, however, this will be much less possible. But m1 killers will suffer from it nontheless.
The healing meta is ridiculous. We are back to the old circle of healing days, being hurt does not matter when you can heal in 5 seconds or less thanks to the healing perk buffs. Hit and run playstyle has become obsolete once again, and legion especially suffers from it as well since its intended gameplay is hit and run.
The go next prevention also makes survivors actually try when before they gave up over the slightest thing, which now shows who's really in charge of the matches.
They should have implemented these changes one by one to see how they perform instead of releasing these game changing features all at once, breaking the status quo. Killers should be the power role, and it does not feel like that anymore with how fast matches have become.

At least now some creators are echoing this. it's a matter of time before one of them adresses it. And if they don't, more videos on this topic are appearing so hopefully they will hear.

So just because of "top players" both survivor and killer sides.
The "rest of players" killer and survivor have to get punished?
Thats some hot take right there but i propose a dynamical back end system that would periodically slowly decrease the certain player values down to certain point to match their:
MMR, playtime, match result (which perks have been used the most to win)
Then it would make the game more equal in terms of what everyone on these forums want and that is to slow down the high mmr players that sadly get matched with newer starting players (both killer and survivors).
People wake up try to see that never ending balancing around high end players is wrong and causes more chaos than good.
The balance relies on adding AI to help make the game fair and you cant fool the AI, it will be able to see your real time stats, your real time perk usage, your most player character and use that to make the game fair for the other players u matched with.

The gen speed isn't as much of a problem as map safety. It's because of the amount of interconnecting safety that 3 gens will be done by the end of the first chase.

I've noticed this. I feel like there's a pallet or window every five feet.

It's honestly funny because when I play killer, I also very easily have two gens pop in my face right after the first chase. But as survivor, even though I really try hard on my gen, the first gen pops after the third hook.
Am I cursed or what?
Now let's not jump the gun, killers never have the upper hand at the start of the trial, unless they use specific iri addons like Pig and Wesker at the beginning of the match. It's quite normal to lose gens faster at the beginning as the fewer gens, the more pressure and momentum you can build but it does feel INSANELY FAST as killer but if you play as survivor, that's definitely not what happens every match.Post edited by HoS on4 -
Well not really, I feel like there are very few maps with really connected tiles. FE. Garden of joy, Macmilans, Eeryie.

Top sweaty squads are everywhere! I have checked it. Ghoul has highest killrate, Wraith is on low mmr, and Legion mid.
They are everywhere!
I can say which mmr im on, due to how surviviors act. I just played on thouse killers differently. On Wraith i usually let surviviors go, on legion i may sarcifice 3 and let one go. Ghoul… Just everybody alr dead when i started the trial.
On low its rarity to meet Squad, but if you played more than 1 hour, its probably will happen now.
Which is absurd!0 -
You have to realize that when advocating for killer 3 down votes equals illness up vote because there are more survivor mains
