Hound master is a disaster 😭😭

The hound master is such a great killer concept don’t get me wrong at all and I really wanna enjoy playing her soooo much but her dog is soooooo buggy still even after all the tweaks after she was released!!

She is soooo pretty and I love being able to pet the dog. Me and the other 20 people who play hound master find it so frustrating due to the way the dog interacts with the environment. The whole point mechanic is really hard to control when directing the dog. (I’m specifically referring to when you’re across the map trying to direct the dog to it snapped onto the wrong generator and will not let me redirect it)

Sometimes the dog just stands there still and doesn’t obey its commands. It’s almost like it has a mind of its own at times. I’m just begging you guys to show our black queen some love!! ❤️❤️❤️

    I agree 100%. If it gives you any comfort, I have submitted over 10 bugs for her. A few forums friends have also tackled several bugs. If that doesn't give you comfort maybe this will, Ryan has sent in some of her most game breaking bugs to the team to be reviewed and fixed.

    We sent them in a couple weeks ago so my guess is hopefully by the next PTB, she will be have some fixes. <3

    I am P95 with her so I totally get it but yes she is so much fun when she works, but right now she is in rough shape. She needs QOL overall, bug fixes and addon adjustments for sure. I reckon the dev's will get to it soon. As houndmaster says "Won't be long now" ;)

    @MechWarrior3 Omg yes this helps me out soooooo much!!! they also need to give her some more skins that can change the dog!!! I love the poodle one just not really her outfit part. She has a lot of potential if they will just take care of her! And definitely nurture the bugs

    Absolutely! 100% I believe they will. She's a very unique killer. I love her very much, which is funny because when I first saw her "leaked" design. I was like uhhh….ew…what the heck…No wayyyyyyy, but I figured you know what, let me see what she is all about. Read her lore, checked out her power. Fell in love! The voiceactress alone sold it for me.

    Just had a match in the forgotten ruins. Taking the portal removes her power!! Or well, to be more precise, you have to wait for Snug to reappear next to you. I still did well, but if the match was going badly I'd be waay more frustrated.

    She can shake hands with Twins and Knight, in terms of bugs.

    Which is unfortunate, since she's one of my favorites.

    I rather enjoy Snug's antics, all problems I have with Houndmaster is the abysmal aiming at generators with the Search Command.

    @Emeal you are sooooo right on that!! I hate the point mechanic it’s so clunky, inaccurate, and inconsistent! I really hope they start treating her right!! #savethehoundmaster

    My biggest gripe is how mediocre houndsense is.

    First off, it only applies to survivors who are revealed with killer instinct from the dog's "search" command. So if you hit a survivor who you catch with the chase command, it doesn't count. (And an addon that applied houndsense in a radius around the dog when it snags someone was nerfed to no longer apply to the snagged survivor, only people near them. So it's pretty much ONLY the search command)

    So what does houndsense give you?

    If you hit them from healthy and they become injured, they suffer deep wound. (Which isn't BAD but for something that's difficult to apply it's a bit underwhelming.)

    If you down them, they get louder grunts of pain, and more blood puddles…..for the downed survivor, who is at your feet because you just M1'd them. It's really underwhelming and I hope houndsense gets buffed in the future so the louder grunts and more blood are also applied to injured survivors or something. Or built in bloodhound to represent the dog tracking their blood trail. There's a few things that houndsense needs.

    @Toybasher I 100% agree with you on that one!! I really can’t notice a difference with or without hound sense applied on a survivor.
