The spawn changes definitely aren't working right.
I suggest as killer you try running lethal persuer. Most games now, (with all 5 of us running bloodpoint offerings, so no offerings changing it are in play) survivors just spawn like they used to. I don't think it is actually working right.

Opposite effect for me. I love running Lethal and I am seeing 3-4 survivors spawn in the same area consistently.

It's suppose to be all 4 together every time unless they bring an offering. If you only see 3 spawning together and no offering was used... something got messed up.

I agree that I don't think it's working correctly every match either. Sometimes it works, but other times there have been no offerings played to split survivors, yet I've spawned in as killer with the survivors not all grouped up together in one corner of the map. I've also spawned several times reasonably close to the middle of the map, so I don't know in which direction I should begin my search for the survivors. I could be misremembering, but I thought that wasn't going to happen anymore.

Ive been getting 4-together, 1-separate + 3-together, and 2-separate + 2-together. Ive never had an instance where all 4 are separate though. On average though, Im getting a tighter spawn density for Survivors compared to before.
Idk if it is working as intended or not, but moreso just speaking from personal experience.

Yup I agree. I am specifically abusing 'lethal pursuis' just to test this, every single match… and the result are anything but what they want to achieve and actually push survivor in survivor favor. They often spawn 2+2, and then they spread out even easier than before… so now you have 4 gens being worked on at the start instead of 2 or 3. This is why matches are so much faster since the update. Gen effiency is through the rough.

it isnt, and you can still spawn in the middle of tha map facing the wall. Sometimes they spawn right 4 man, but often you will get 2x2 or 3x1, if you get the 3x1 spawn and happen to find that 1 solo guy you will mostly lose the first gen in 45 sec

the bug is map dependant, try some squared maps like coldwind offering

For what it's worth, when we're playing survivor it's almost always 4 people within "sight" (sometimes they're behind walls) with the occasional 3 in a group and 1 off who knows where. As killer it's usually everyone is grouped nearby with the occasional 2 and 2 for us.

I appreciate you grabbing footage of this! In the meantime, would you be able to elaborate on what you're specifically seeing in terms of the Survivor spawns? That would help us check if something odd's going on here.

Every game i played yesterday someone used the offering so i didn't get any clips of it, but i will try again today.

Can't say much as Killer, but as Survivor I've spawned 99% of the time with another two Survivor in my immediate FoV.

I use lethal on Oni a lot and regularly see survivors spawning 2 and 2. I have yet to see everyone alone like some of those screenshots tho.

How come you selectively take these bug reports from some threads but close other peoples threads who bring up stuff with proof?

My games we all spawn pretty close together unfortunately.

I'll add some footage of my own. I played a match in RPD this morning, and two Survivors spawned on the first floor, and two spawned on the second. Though they were all on the same side of the map, I guess the game considered them close enough together even though they were on opposite floors.

Also they said they stopped it from spawning killers in the middle… I have spawned COUNTLESS times in the middle, with no one using any spawn offerings. I thought I finally had escaped from this insufferable design.

I dont think any offerings are suppose to effect killer spawn location anyway.

The killer very often spawns in the pizza building in the middle of the Springtrap map. So there isn’t a clear “farthest” generator I should check, and it’s a guessing game.

I've been getting a lot of 3 & 1 spawns playing both sides, almost every game 1 survivor is on their own.
Also had 2 games against a ghouls tonight that spawned within clear line of sight of within 1 leap distance away! Not even any need for lethal, heart beat was on screen in less than a second & we were staring at each other! Both the dead sands map not sure if its a map specific issue or just more broken bs but that map is bad enough already!

i csn confirm as killer and as survivor, that most of the times I either spawn alone, or somone's missing (3 and 1)

I have a screenshot and footage of this happening today. Here is the screenshot of the spawns:
You can see 1 survivor off to the left way away by themselves, myself spawning near the middle of the map, and 3 survivors in front of me. I'd also say that the survivor in the dead center is probably more than 12 meters away from the other 2 because it looks like they spawned closer to the back corner, but its tough to say from this angle, 12 meters being about 2 lunges, should be quite a short range.
Here is the video, i included the loading screen to show that nobody brought offerings to change the spawn locations:
I also have the full match recorded if you need it for some reason, and went into the pause menu to see the map ID if that matters for map generation/spawn locations.
In general though, this is the kind of thing i'm seeing, sometimes the survivors spawn in pairs super far apart. I think 1 time i noticed them spawning all 4 in completely random places like it used to be and me in the middle, again with no offerings to change it.

At first I thought it could have been the work of Vigo's Shroud (because who knows what it does now with the spawn rules, if it even does anything) but since there's no offering…

Just played a match on groaning storehouse and spawned in between shack and main building. the first tryks that started the trial was the “peekaboo” and when I tell you each survivor spawned across the map from each other on separate gens I would’ve cried if i wasn’t playing Kaneki. we all brought the Coconut Scream Pie so there wasn’t any shroud offerings in play. There’s definitely something up with the spawn changes.

This is typically done to cut down on conversation about a given issue being fragmented across multiple posts, centralizing that discussion in - ideally - one place. In doing this, we try to merge and close bug report threads, but still actively check these closed threads for relevant proof points we can bring back to the team to aid in their investigations.

Definitely not working properly. Ive even had spawns next to the killer. Just few games ago me and sable spawned right next to a trickster and she was down within first 15 seconds of the match making 1 of the other teammates (lara croft) ragequit lol its been a trip this update

Hey @ThatRyanB as of the last patch, this is still happening, just got out of a game where everyone spawned in completely random corners of the map, no offering was in play, everyone brought cakes. This issue is still occuring. I can get some more videos/screenshots if needed.

As of the latest patch 9.2.0 this is still happening. Just got out of another game, no offering in play, and survivors spawned in 2 groups on opposite ends of the map. This is still bugged for months now, is there any news on this?

As of patch 9.2.3 this is still occuring. We are starting to get near almost 6 months of this not working and your silence on this has been deafening.
Do you have any information on this or any updates at all? Is this still being looked at?

I don't currently run Lethal and I bet you I just breeze right past survivors all the time lol. Actually blows my mind how often I spawn in the killer's terror radius as surv.

I didnt run leathal so Idk but from what I seen as killer sometimes I spawn in centre of the map and this change should make it so both sides spawn on or near corner/edges of the map and not in the middle.

I always run Bond and i dont always see my teammates nearby, sometimes we spawn split 2/2 on opposite sides of the map with no offering, the new spawns are extremely inconsistent.
