How about some RNG with the Killer Shack?

I know I will be downvoted for suggesting this. I don't really care. Survivor mains especially take offense to suggesting "fixing" the Shack. "How dare you sir! I love looping with that window and easily escaping with my god pallet! A pox be on you!"

Simple enough fix for the Shack. RNG will sometimes spawn a window and sometimes just spawn a pallet by one of the doorways. Shacks no longer have both a pallet and a window. Done.

Let's get this to 100 vote downs and Survivor mains can tell me how wrong I am. How it's totally fair that they get to loop through that window a couple of times before being forced to throw down that god pallet... Not unless the Shack is positioned right next to another safe pallet of course.

The shack loop is only viable for 3 loops, max, if the killer plays it poorly. Far less than that if the killer plays it well.

I'd say it's both iconic and balanced, and probably doesn't need a change :pirate:

I don't have a problem with the shack as it allows for a few mindgames for killer and survivor. Pallets or double L walls spawning close by isn't cool though.

I knew a guy would appear and say it's fine. At least say if you main Survivor or not. Have some balls at least.

Okay bud. Completely ignoring my point, people like you always ignore reality, that often the Shack will spawn next to another pallet. Which means that Survivors don't need to jump through the window 3 times or more and then throw down the god pallet and just get away. They can just hop over to the safe pallet nearby and the rest of the Survivors can loop you a couple of times in the Shack.

No debate gets anywhere if you value the opinion of the opposition + their point less based on their background/bias in a game with two sides =) I play both survivor and killer, though I have more hours in killer. I rarely find the shack to be a point of debate when it comes to how "powerful" a tile can be, since you asked.

I did not ignore your point, as you did not place a point in your original post - that said, I don't mind replying to your response (which does have a point, despite your condescending tone).

My response is this - is the shack the issue, or is the close proximity of a nearby pallet the issue? A shack change would not affect the fact that pallets will spawn close to windows, sometimes. The same could be said of many places in many map iterations.

    Thoughts on this?

It isn't sometimes. Pretty much all the time the Shack will spawn next to a pallet. The only exception might be Red Forest. In the Coldwind Farms maps or the Swamp maps or Autohaven Wreckers the Shack is guaranteed to spawn next to a pallet or multiple pallets in the case of Autohaven.

Then the solution is very obvious now isn't it? Random RNG on the Shack so there's no Pallet and a window. It's one or the other. Problem solved. No more bad loop spot.

Would you suggest the devs go through every map where this sort of spawn can be found, and remove it entirely?

Interesting idea. Can't say I've ever had trouble with it, myself.
