Cant self unhook

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:

Since a couple days im unable to attempt to self unhook and deliverance does not work

PLATFORM:

Ps5

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

I get hooked, I see no bar for self unhooking and when I attempt it doesn't do anything

Can you give more information on how you couldn't self unhook with Deliverance - was the perk active for example?

    You can't self-unhook unless there is only two survivors left, you brought a luck offering or you have Slippery Meat or Up the Ante perks. Its change to prevent go-next where people would kill themselves on first hook. Its intentional.
