Priority Queue for Filling Needed Role
I'd like to see a system where if queue times are unbalanced, you can gain priority queue placement in the overpopulated role by running a match in the required role.
For example, say survivors have a blood point bonus to queue up as a survivor (which means killer queue times are bad). By playing a round as survivor a player would get priority queue placement next round if they queue up as killer.
This would further encourage queues to self-balance between killers and survivors than bloodpoint bribery alone while allowing people who want to play a particular role still get into matches without an otherwise unfun wait.

They're actually introducing a "play while you wait" thing in 2v8, but I have so many questions about it. Like, if a Killer lobby is found in the middle of their Survivor match, what happens? Does the Survivor get DC'd as they're transferred to the Killer lobby? Or do the Survivors have to wait while the Killer finishes their Survivor match?

ah I love these half assed solutions Behaviour cooks up. They are the only ones who do these things. Can't make things well enough in the first place.

Well, it's hard to say if the "play while you wait" is "half-assed" when we don't even know how it will work.
I would think it's a good idea at least; I just don't understand how it's going to work.

It sounds like it will just save your place in the queue. So a match wouldn't necessarily be "found" while you're in the middle of another match, but when you get out of that match you'll be higher up in the killer queue than when you initially queued up.
My assumption though, is that with multiple people using it… you're still going to go 3-4 survivor matches before you get your spot as killer.
