I like new Decisive Strike rework, how it's designed to punish tunneling killers, but for that job DS is not doing that good and it's easy to avoid DS for killers. So, prob someone allready made this idea but if not, I am doing it now.
It’s very simple what they need to do to make it an actual tunneling counter. Make the timer around 30 seconds but it stops during chase or when downed, and Enduring doesn’t work against it. The shorter timer ensures that tunnelers are on the receiving end, but the tunneled survivor also isn’t cheated out of the perk. No brainer changes to a currently useless rework.

Eh honestly at least adding half an extra second would help at least cause I got hit by it once...then chased them again. I can shake it off easily.
Just make it not effected by enduring and it’s good IMO.

those are the players who cry about not getting a 4k every game, Devour Hope & Noed. 2 instadowns.. but survivors cant have DS.. those killers who complain about it are all ######### trash at dbd. they need to have survivors nerfed to the ground to justify their lack of skill. Games like this will never be truly balanced. theres always going to be a group of unhappy players.. You cant please everyone and it took about 2 years to nerf ds? which is bs. ######### these ######### devs. this pipping system is garbage, this new update is garbage. alot of players stopped playing dbd on pc when the nerf dropped. And even though I don't use DS, I find that Enduring being able to eat the entire perk stun duration is insanely OP and makes DS not worth taking.
As a solo player, if I see the killer tunneling, odds are they have Enduring equipped. So far that hypothesis has been roughly 75% true since the reworks actual release.
Killers got their wish. Survivors have been nerfed. They can't hardly pip because of the new system. Get tunneled, by rank. DC? Bye rank. Start with less than 4 people? Odds are, bye rank.
Rank might not matter to some of you, but their content creators WANT to be high rank, because they get so many more views. Which is promoting their game. The Dev's recent changes is the equivalent of Trapper stepping in his own trap over and over again. smh

how the ######### is that even remotely balanced that killers have so many insta downs and the one thing that urks killers the most gets removed after 2 years. I use the term removed because it completely useless. DEVs say its to counter tunneling... There is no counter to tunneling. Unless the increase that duration to more than 3 seconds allo and not let Enduring effect it, DS is utterly useless...

we all still play this game for endless hours but can still dread alot of its crappy mechanics tailors to ######### players.
why dont you take the time to research Recorded User Logins for DBD and see how bad those user log ins dropped after the update..... DBD lost ALOT of players when DS rework came out. this tells you something. change has to happened.

Devour Hope - Left a lit one up for 5 count em 5 hooks.
And Devour Hope is a barely used perk lets not exaggerate.
The only Crutch perk killers truly have is NoED and that can be removed before even activating. Hell they can remove it for all i care but don't act like the rest of the nerfs for survivor were not deserved.
You seem to be re-calling times when you could insta-finish gens with BNP's and 360 with a controller made it laughably easy.
It's finally something closer to balanced and you can't sit and laugh as you insta finish 5 gens or flashlight a killer into ALT F4 because they were perma blinded.
Yes losing players when DS was nerfed does tell me something, too many crutchers were using it.
It literally took 4 players running it for 4 easy escapes from the killer and that's not even counting the other crap they could pull like insta-meds, flashlight saves and hook-blocks.
Was DS OP in solo play? perhaps not but for as long as SWF is in the game that has to be taken into account and they abused the ever-living crap out of it.

This needs stop. As long as DS is a basic stun, it is getting affected by Enduring and if you want it to be immune to a stun reduction, which it shouldn't be, then you need to give up something in return. The time absolutely should no stop or any of the other ridiculous nonsense.
Learn to not go down and learn to accept that you're not always going to get away when you do. People kept saying that over reliance on DS was going to harm a lot of players once the devs finally turned it into something the majority of players on both sides could live with and that is what is happening. DS honestly should have never been made and never have continued to be what it was for so long.
Also, survivors tend to want lots of counterplay to killers, but when it comes to DS people who crutched themselves on it suddenly don't want to see counterplay used against them. Learn to play safer games and when you have a chance to get out just leave. That is all you gotta do and you don't need DS to do it.
It's very funny though how actual decent survivors agree with most of what the more experienced killers were saying though... a lot of the changes that were made had to be made in order for the game to continue to survive... especially if bhvr wants another 5-7 years out of DBD... DS is fine, enduring needs to continue to effect all stuns and the only "buff" ds should get is another .5 seconds on it... ASH is bringing another 3 great perks to the game for survivors-----> hopefully survs will stop sucking on DSfor life support now and move on to something fresh for once...
This would be a nice improvement, though the chase mechanics could potentially be abused to circumvent that timer. Increasing the base stun time or making the stun immune to enduring likely wouldn't be excessive since the perk is now much more situational and easy for the killer to avoid.
