    Follow the Light (Killer Perk)

    “Let them shine their light. It only makes them easier to see.”

    When a Survivor successfully blinds you with a flashlight:

    • That Survivor becomes Exposed for 10 / 20 / 30 seconds.
    • This perk has a cooldown of 60 / 50 / 40 seconds.

    Killer:

    Hex-In The Ring: During the trial, whenever you come across a Dull or Boon Totem, spend 4/3/2 seconds to light it into a Hex-In The Ring.

    Within a radius of 40m, you gain 5% Haste, 20% recovery to successful and missed Basic Attacks, and will speed up the special ability of the Killer by 10%.

    Only one Hex: In The Ring can exist at any one time.

    Survivor:

    Forage: Six herbal plots will spawn around the map. Each herb has a random chance of 3 herbs to choose from, which when mixed in pairs (takes 5 seconds) grants a benefit. The herbs are: Cilantro, Rosemary, Yarrow. Each combination counts as if you were holding an item.

    Combinations:

    1. Cilantro+Cilantro: Recovers from any debuff status currently in effect by 100%.
    2. Rosemary+Rosemary: Increases the chances of skill checks by 10% and grants an additional +3% Progression bonus for Great Skill Checks on gens and +10% bonus for Great Skill Checks on healing for 60 seconds.
    3. Yarrow+Yarrow: Stops Pools of Blood from appearing whilst injured until healed and reduces grunts of pain by 80% until healed
    4. Cilantro+Rosemary: Extends the duration of any buff status by 50%.
    5. Cilantro+Yarrow: Stops Pools of Blood from appearing whilst injured and recovers from any debuffs currently in effect by 50%
    6. Rosemary+Yarrow: Whilst injured, gain a 4% speed increase when repairing gens, and a 20% increase for all other conspicuous actions for 60 seconds.

    Bushes take 120/100/80 seconds before they respawn a random herb.

    id love a scourge hook that regresses generators every time I hook somebody.

    survivor perk:

    Taco Tuesday

    Whenever you’re in chase drop tacos where your scratch marks would be. If you collect 30 of your dropped tacos go really fast for x amount of time

    This perk only works on Tuesdays and is deactivated the rest of the week.

    Survivor

    • Reduces chance for skill checks by 100%.
    • Vaulting a window blocks it for the killer.

    Killer

    • While unseen, gain 5% haste.
    • Removes the red stain permanently.
    • Break pallets/walls, open lockers and damage generators silently. Killer related noises are quieter (Nemesis footsteps, kaneki‘s screaming, Myers breathing….).

    Revelation

    "The truth always finds a way to surface, even in the darkest corners."

    After becoming unhooked for the first time, for the next 120 seconds, you suffer from the broken status effect, and you and the killer gain the following benefits whenever you are both are in a chase together:

    • You both can see each other's aura.
    • You both gain a 15% haste.
    • Your vaults are 30% quicker.
    • The killer vaults 30% quicker.

    If the duration ends while you are unharmed, you become instantly healed, and you see the killer's aura for 10 seconds.

    If the killer manages to down you while the perk is still active, you keep the broken status effect for the remainder of the trial.

    My idea is to make a really strong, risky, and fun type perk, my idea might not suit the game, but I certainly had fun coming up with it, let me know what you all think of it!

    Survivor Perks:

    1. If the killer is inside the 28m radius from where you're hooked, your hook timer doesn't flow
    2. If you get hooked 2nd and last hook phase in a row, you enter another hook phase instead of getting sacrificed. You don't have hook timer in this phase. This perk deactivates if all gens are done.

    Killer Perk:

    1. If you hook the survivor and if you are not in 20m radius from the hook, you gain 15% haste effect until that survivor is unhooked.

    Unfortunately they'd still be pretty easy to find. It's just simple game knowledge that makes them weak and for sure not viable in higher play.

    How about when the third and fourth unique surv is hooked the Entity blocks a lit totem for 20/30/40 seconds or whatever length of time?

    Reduce the duration of flashlight blindness effects by 30/40/50%

    Note: This would synergize with perks such as Shadowborn that would benefit the Killer from being blinded.

    obliteration - both role perk

    "you dare to walk in my presence?"

    Look at a survivor or killer for a nanosecond, perk activates.

    Press the active ability button near any other player no matter role and obliterate them of the trial.

    Can I go the opposite way and instead if I could dramatically change the perk situation for DBD, I would delete 2 thirds of all perks and addons?

    The game is such a cluster ######### of perks and addons its a nightmare to try and figure out why you're exposed, mangled, your aura is revealed or you're exhausted etc.

    Blood Fever: After hooking a survivor you get 5% haste for 20/25/30 seconds.

    Fury: After you are stunned by a pallet or blinded by any means receive a 10% haste for 10/12/15 seconds.

    What You Leave Behind: When you kick a generator the last survivor to have worked on the generator screams and has their aura revealed for 6/8/10 seconds.

    Misdirection: You start the trial with one token. Press the active ability button to create a 20 meter trail of scratch marks leading in the direction you're facing. Suppresses scratch marks made by you for 6/8/10 seconds. Repair a generator for 30% progress to regain a token. You can have a maximum of 2 tokens.

    Quiet mode (the version that also hides scratchmarks) and remote hooks as perks.

    Would also love a perk that globally changes hook system somehow. For example, it makes survivors share hook stages together and be unable to die from being repeatedly hooked, but makes it so that getting 8 hook stages immediately triggers the entity to claim all survivors still in the trial.

    Dark shadow gun

    When perks equiped survivor gains a handgun

    Start the trial with 1 bullet. Gain a bullet every time you are unhooked.

    Equiping the perk disables items and doesnt let you pick items

    Giving the killer a headshot stuns him for 1 second. Giving the killer a headshot while he breaks a pallets/picks up survivors stuns him for 2 seconds.

    After shooting the killer your aura is show for 10 seconds
