Please give Springtrap the same wind-up time as Huntress
Huntress' wind-up time is 0,9 seconds. With Babushka she even has an addon that reduces the wind-up time to 0,8 seconds. Meanwhile Springtrap has a full second. Some might think 0,1 seconds is a joke, but it's a huge difference. The time it takes to wind up your Axe, a survivor can be gone around a corner or move away after vaulting a pallet. It would be nice if Springtrap can have 0,9 seconds as well.

He already gets faster after throwing it.
He also doesn't have to spend time reloading, and he has one of the fastest cross-map traversal teleports in the game.
Don't think he needs any buffs; he's honestly one of the more balanced killers on release we've had in awhile.

He should be made slower when holding if so. Some people refuse to throw his axe unless its guaranteed, and its not punished well enough. Otherwise, he is in a great spot and doesn't need changes.

That's not true, they both have a cooldown of 2 seconds according to DbD wiki and I noticed the same when I played him. Yeah, he doesn't have to reload but he only has one axe, while Anna has 7 hatchets. It balances out. I give you the map mobility, but that hasn't been the point of my post. It's not about making Springtrap and Huntress both equally strong, it's about a little buff for Springtrap. The rest is fine.

He's not slowed during it, he just can't buffer any other commands during those two seconds.

and he doesnt get 7 hatchets to just spam them and is actually put on a cooldown.
if he was balanced properly, he'd be 115% at all times.

Absolutely not, Huntress' windup time feels like molasses. ANY Killer with a windup timer feels clunky and unfun. They adjusted it on Xeno, now Xeno' tail feels awful. Windup timers suck.
Springtrap doesn't need any more balancing and he certainly doesn't need nerfs. If anything he could be lightly buffed.

Uhh that's blatantly, provably false.
- Springtrap has a 2-second throw recovery at which he slowly moves 2.76m/s.
- Huntress has a 2-second throw recovery where she moves at quickly at 3.74m/s.
Her post-shot cooldown is literally better than his by a large margin.

You're both misunderstanding the post and making a generally bad point especially for xeno, he feels exactly the same now

I personally think huntress feels pretty good to play like this.
I actually think it's the perfect middleground:
You can simply tap rightclick one time and aim/flick during the windup to instantly throw the hatchet perfectly, at the same time it doesn't take ages. Of course killers with a windup need a specific timing at palettes, around objects or corners, but in general it doesn't make them clunky instantly in my opinion.

Tradeoff is a tremendously slow projectile. It's nice because you can arc it, but for it being her only power, a 0.9s windup for a super slow projectile on a 4.4m/s killer is kindaaa…
but I don't care too much, just my thoughts

Well normally you don't throw it to hit directly but where you believe the survivor will dodge to, so it's actually good I think. Of course it's not a bullet, but it has a pretty huge hitbox for that - also I personally don't think it's too bad as counterplay to be able to react to her hatchets.

Huntress has movement speed penalty and window where she cannot attack. Spingtrap also does have window where he cannot attack, but he has very minimal movement speed penalty during the cooldown as well as he moves faster with axe up and has more generous hitbox. Also Spingtrap on top of great zoning has free teleport to every generator on the map with no cooldown, granting him long lasting undetectable. Springtrap defienetly doesn't need any buffs. The buffs to Huntress were also questionable as you had to dodge her 5 hatchets and as reward the chase was over and it happend rarely but now she has two extra so even less reward for dodging, more snowball potential. I really wish they focus or killer designs like Houndmaster, Unknown and Wesker who are all very balanced while also fun to play and fun to play against.

Interesting, it's listed differently on his wiki.gg page vs Huntress' for some reason. Thanks for the correction.
Still… It only takes 4 to 5 seconds to catch someone after landing a Hatchet. Don't think landing it needs to be made easier.

I'm sorry but I really do not like Killers with windups. Period.
I'm totally aware I'm in the minority that doesn't find Huntress all that fun to play.

Depends for me also, but I love to play huntress. I hate to play pyramid head for example (I count that as windup) xD

Spingtrap also does have window where he cannot attack, but he has very minimal movement speed penalty during the cooldown
How did this blatantly false myth get so widespread? Just gonna repost the same reply I made earlier…
- Springtrap has a 2-second throw recovery at which he slowly moves 2.76m/s
- Huntress has a 2-second throw recovery where she moves at quickly at 3.74 m/s.
Her post-shot cooldown is better than his by a large margin - moving about +36% faster than he does on top of having really great recovery addons.

There's one problem with this argument and that it's a speed curve. He reaches 2.76m/s 0.4 seconds post throw but quickly curves back upwards to 4.6m/s for the last 1.6 seconds
