Strange hook angles
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
I think it has been a thing for a couple of patches now, but I have noticed that (some) hooks on indoor maps, such as Hawkins, Lery's and Midwich, are strangly turned so as to be parallel with a wall. This makes it impossible to save from more than 2 sides. Examples in screenshots below.
This looks like it's not intended, and I'm sure these hooks were aligned properly before (i.e., facing away from the wall and allowing for multi-directional saves).
PLATFORM:
PC, Steam, Windows 11
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
Go to an indoor map.

I reported this also some time ago.
Don´t know if this is intentional or a bug.

can confirm and weirdly enough its only on indoor maps….

It can be observed on outdoor maps too but in those its not that easily visible. Still some hooks even in outdoor maps do have slight tilt to them or look off how they should be lined up with objects.

3 weeks ago, this happened to me and my friends. He claimed that it was the dev's fault for putting the hook like that, resulting in us not getting a save prompt. Definitely wasn't just exploiting but wtv.

There is an earlier report of the hook alignment being bugged and I mentioned this hook in the report as good example where killer can block the unhook in endgame by just standing next to it. Someone else clearly got the same idea. I think you can do the same in several of these kind of hooks. One main reason why they should be fixed but seems nobody sees this as important to be high priority. Most likely not even that hard of a fix as I think its some minor mistake in the hook spawn rules.

Some more examples from Lery's.
