how ? i don't have Decisive Strike
i'm running a very beginner friendly build bc i'm just back to the game after a few years. just deja vu, kindred, babysitter, and iron will. no decisive strike bc i don't have that character.
i was playing with 2 friends [the Meg and Yun-jin]. i know it wasn't them doing anything bc they were working a gen across the map in the first clip. i assumed the Dwight had a flashbang but it just didn't do the audio/visual for me for some reason. but in the second clip the Dwight was on a gen, not very close.
my friends wanted to queue up again right after so i didn't have a second to check perks [i also forgot].
was this a survivor perk on the dwight? to help teammates within a certain radius? was it cheats somehow? was this some sort of killer perk? to randomly get stunned in exchange for some sort of buff? i have never seen this before

Sounds like a cheater, you were actually flashlightsaved by him. Most of the time you can't do much about that as killer - sometimes it's for some reason directional. So it always and only blinds you if you look in the direction of the cheater but doesn't care about you looking up or down - most of the time it doesn't matter what you do xD
Ps:
actually only the first one I believe. Ether you have cut out the clicking on the second one or it was literally remote ds, that's also pretty common xD

Yea cheaters can cause stuff to happen on other players too. Infact they try to make it look like you were cheating so you get the report but it was infact some other player across the map.

If you've taken a break from DBD for a few years, let me reassure you… not much has changed. The anti-cheat system is still just as effective as you remember it: virtually nonexistent.
The only real difference is the volume of cheaters. They're more creative now, and apparently more plentiful. So if you decide to take another break and come back again in a few years, don't worry… you'll be greeted by the exact same experience.
Only with new skins and higher MMR frustration.-1 -
this makes sense, i didn't even know people could apply it remotely .. at least i know exactly who it was that did it, i guess ?? too bad i didn't think to report right after the game

Yeah unfortunately it's not possible to report cheaters afterwards. Funny enough it wouldn't even be hard to realize this, because they already have a matchhistory from the stats - they'd only have to include it ingame and made it so you can look at the matchdetails in the endscreen xD

In the first clip it sounded like a flashlight save. There was a click to the righthand side and two survivors on the generator. Due to the HUD element, it would seem that the Dweight was out of frame and got a cheeky 45 degree flashy save at a distance. With a focused lens, the range can be far enough that you don't see the little halo coming from the light.
Without reading the other comments, this is my guess.
The second one is just the killer dropping you. This was a tactical thing on her part.
If you have above 80% wiggle and the killer drops you, you are freed instead of being dropped. This is why they pick you up and drop you 4 times and the 5th one causes you to be freed from their grasp when each drop gives you 20% wiggle progress the next time you are picked up.
The reason the killer did this at that moment is because they were either memeing or did not think they were going to make it to a hook. Dropping a survivor off a ledge intentionally is tactically better than dropping them anywhere else, because survivors are momentarily slowed when they drop - allowing a killer to regain chase much more easily than not.
TL;DR
You were flashlight saved in the first clip and the killer dropped you in the second.
