Country Flag Charms!
I think it would be cool for people to be able to put on a charm with their country's flag, so that we could know where other players are from. It would also help in the lobby and end-game chats to know what language they speak. 🤓

Nationalism just leads to conflict. You'd have people getting tunnelled just because of the country they're from.

That‘s already the case with pride flags/charms and other things, so this doesn‘t speak against it.

Country flags also represent an institution behind them, which are all capable of committing atrocities on a massive scale. Flying said flag is an implicit (or sometimes explicit) support of a government's actions, and what they represent.
Countries can go to war and commit large-scale human rights abuses. They are not equivalent to a group of people living as their authentic selves. Country flags can be used to represent terrible things, whereas Pride flags are incapable of doing such a thing.

I get that a lot of people feel proud of where they're from, and there's nothing wrong with that. But sometimes, when national pride shows up, it can lead to arguments or the enforcement of others being left out. Since Dead by Daylight has such a diverse player base, it might be better to focus on things that bring everyone together, rather than something that divide people.

it's all fun and games until somebody makes an issue out of a Taiwan flag.
sadly this isn't the 2000s anymore we can't just tell trolls and rage baiters to shove off, as all outrage is now "engagement" and ad revenue.

I think having country flags in the game would be great some people take pride in where they come from or the history of their nation and there is noting wrong with that.
