Killer queue while playing survivor BUGGED (2v8)
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
I launched the game (via GeForce NOW) after 11 a.m. ET, and queued up as Trapper in 2v8. Then I accepted the invitation to play as survivor while staying in the killer queue. I played as Felix. After escaping as Felix, I got sent back to the Trapper screen, but then I got this error message:

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
I queued up as Trapper in 2v8, and played as Felix. After the match I was sent back to the Trapper screen. Then the screen went black, and I heard the sound when you hear when you are entering a match lobby. However, I got kicked out and sent to this screen, with this error message. I never got into a lobby with survivors.

If you or anyone else seeing this thread has player logs from when they encounter this issue (or the Play While You Wait option not showing up with an estimated queue time of over 5 minutes), please don't hesitate to share them here and I can make sure they're sent to the team to investigate.

17 min queue, loaded via steam, trying to play as a EU player with a US friend. Tried it both ways (US party leader, EU party leader), no invite popup.
Also the queue timer is not progressing. Still stuck at 17 minutes after at least 5 min in queue

Edit: these were my first attempts to play 2v8 after it went live. US team mate played survivor before, but not killer. Therefore the invite never triggered.
We did end up in a killer lobby with the timer still shwoing 17 min remaining6 -
I'm on PS5 in the UK, readied up as the Huntress twice and I'm not recieving any invites to play as survivor :(

As a quick heads-up, I just confirmed with the team that the estimated queue time does not count down, so if it starts at "17 minutes" it would continue to display this throughout the queue.0 -
eu, netherlands. I never receive an invite while queued up as killer with a wait time now 16 minutes. First wait was 14 minutes, also didnt receive an invite, nor see an option. Playing on pc, queuing solo

After fiinishing two games, when queuing for the third, join as survivor immediately popped up as an option. Can't update log due to error 400

After finishing one game while waiting, we can’t find a match as survivors anymore, and we were unreadied as killers.

restart did give me the option. Played a match as survivor. Now it says i am in priority queue but no estimated wait time anymore and its over 5 minutes so far. Do i have to assume i am bugged or is it actually gonna put me in a match? Would be nice to make it visible with estimated queue timer there too or something so how you are really queuing.

You can off your crossplay (main menu, settings) so you can play only with xbox players, worked for me in epic games

Adding my two cents here, I queued up as Nemesis on PC via Steam, then queued for survivor, played and finished that game, then got the indicator that I was in "priority queue". Sat there for a good 20 minutes at LEAST with nothing happening. Then I unreadied due to impatience and got an error that said something along the lines of me being disconnected from the host

To confirm, is this the "Host Unreachable" error? If so, this specific issue is still under investigation with the team, now that the general issues with matchmaking, caused by the outage, have been resolved.

I waited for 26 minutes and then before the game started lobby crashed, and now I have to wait 26 minutes again ❤️❤️❤️
