Solo is terrible is because of the skill/knowledge level of your teammates (and likely yours), not because of killer players killing survivors.

The cowardice in this dev team is really astonishing. Just put the changes in that are healthy for the game overall and see if the player #s drop. Stop listening to the loud minority…

People which play more killer panic because they have long time experience with devs just pushing bad changes without proper testing into live game specialy not killer favorable changes so again if this would hit live the outcome whould be much more than mft or for the people bucle up combo which were easy to use and quite busted against weaker killers while not effecting the strongest as usual which doesnt seems good change for me just forcing people what they should play making the pick rates more limited than it should be.

"Strategy" as a concept implies that you can change things on the fly. In a game like DbD, that would be switching tactics based on how the match is going. So, in essence, situationally tunneling or camping late game, spreading pressure, hit and run, etc. and, most importantly, changing between these based on game sense or game knowledge.
If you only ever do one thing and never deviate from that for any reason (including responding to how your opponent plays), I hardly call that a "strategy". Just like I wouldn't call "slamming your face on the keyboard a strategy, although you could certainly try to play that way.
Hard tunneling and then screaming at the devs when and if it doesn't work out as a 4k at 3+ gens is entitlement, not strategy.

Completely agree. It'd add so much to the experience for Killers as well if they were conditioned into realizing that 3 Kills is a really good win. Unfortunately 4K are still overly sought after for no reason other than a Killer having an ego trip, god complex, or massive amount of entitlement in thinking they deserve all 4. Believe me, if I was making this game, 4k situations would happen maybe 1 - 2 % of the time. It'd be a very rare and once in a blue moon moment for Killers to achieve at ALL levels…

so, in your version, last survivor is entitled to free escape, no matter how bad survivor team did?

If we really want to be picky, hatch is the ultimate form of entitlement.
It’s an incredible amount of entitlement, to want a chance to win a game even though your team didn’t actually complete their objectives. It’s one of the biggest “participation trophies” that PvP games could ever have.
This game even has 2 chances at a participation trophy, because if the killer closes hatch, the gates magically power up even though the generators weren’t all repaired.

Not true at all. It just needs to be harder for Killer to 4k. And the last Survivor getting the escape really shouldn't mean that much to Killers by default. However that would needed to be implemented would be done. Like I said it'd be a rare moment, which DBD also needs more of imo.

This is a bit of a tangent so I apologise but I really think they need to make 3 kills/sacrifices count as "merciless killer". Right now the only metric available to determine what qualifies a win, in my opinion, are adept achievements.
