Deathslinger's Shot Validation | Report-01
Currently Deathslinger's Harpoon has a small chance to disconnect from the survivor.
This started with Kaneki's release. On the dot.
Notable patterns:
- It happens selectively.
- What I mean by that is: It's a rare bug that doesn't affect every match
- But when you load into a server, it happens multiple times a match
- It usually, but not exclusively, happens on the same survivor.
- What I mean by that is: It's a rare bug that doesn't affect every match
- It's not a ping issue
- After this bug happens, me, and multiple members of the Deathslinger community. Check our ping immediately, just to see that it's stable and not high. <40ms
- Hackers can exploit.
- This has only happened a few times.
- I went against a non-subtle hacker and they were able to apply something to themselves where it happened on EVERY shot. Lobby and survivors had normal ping.
- I have no data on this instance. It was a long time ago
I will be supplying more logs, clips and screenshots, on behalf of the Hellshire Gang Community to assist as best as I can to remediate this bug.

i hooked the Lara in the basement, was walking around for a few seconds, started the chase with the Elodie after dropping down from the Hill and injured her with M1, followed her to the loop and then it happened (edited)1 -

Description:
- During the first chase I hit her once shortly before the clip started, looping around a filler tile before the validation happened.
- During the second chase I hit him as he dropped a pallet before going to the left side of the doorway thinking he won't look back before deciding to commit to the ride end border of the map and then the validation happened.
- During the third chase I saw him about 25 meters away due to his aura showing from a generator popping, and then I begun a chase with him before firing my spike and then the validation happened.
- During the forth chase I just downed a survivor, and saw her lurking for a flashlight save so I decided to discourage her by going to where she was and firing my spike over the counter and the validation happened.

First chase of the match, I M1ed her and then went for the shot.

I M1ed down Alucard, turned around, and then shot her, and the bug happened.

I hooked Alucard, went to main room, saw her running toward me, and then went for the shot.
- 4th Clip with Taurie:
I was going towards the unhook, started the chase with the 4 survivors, M1ed Taurie, and then the bug happened twice in a row.

Description: As soon as the game started I was going to the rear end of the saloon when I spotted jill, looking for a quick down I decided to chase her. I shot her over a rock with no problem, but as soon as I went to the wagon the validations happen.
