Krasue changes
I was kinda hoping some things were changed about her as bug fixes, so went to test some annoying things she can do.
She can still:
- spam spit with basically no penalty
- autoaim on spit
- spit and M1 quickly (how the hell is it faster than Plague)
- dash basically during animation of changing form
- ignore round loops, if she hugs the wall
- hit you over some short obstacles (the game tables), but less of them
- Mushrooms takes 3 business days to cleanse
- You still get injured if head hits you while you are being cleansed
- You keep infection when being hooked
She can't:
- I did not manage to hit over pallets anymore
Vaults are weaker, but it simply doesn't matter when all of them use Bamboozle/Dissolution.
So the outcome for me is as soon I see Dissolution, I am not playing.
Edit: we shouldn't forget how she can just see over majority of loops, because that's definetly not broken

The devs missed the mark completely and changed things that weren’t even a problem. Feels like a slap in the face tbh.

ye even after update, killer still broken and survivors are still going next and dc pretty much every match

forget the autoaim i think they need to straight up remove the projectile spikes or reduce it to one or two, put an actual cooldown on the ranged attack, remove infection on hook, then nerf the headlong flight by adding an attack cooldown to it not too long not too short, but enough to stop from getting hits at loops. idk, i think these may be enough combined with today's patch. would still be very strong but with counterplay.

I did provide them with a list of the most pressing issues, that will hopefully get rectified in 9.2.2

they said this patch was just the first of 2, at least. the next hotfix is intended to be the follow-up to all the feedback so far. what's so wrong with them fitting in some quick changes for this hotfix?

I feel this should be happening in the PTB and not the mainline game? why is there so many changes that need to occur? She shouldn't be released in this current state.

What region are you in? I'm North America and I really don't see her very often. When I've played as her I haven't seen many DCs. The last one I got was ironically during a match where I was mainly playing her as an M1 killer and staying in her human form for a majority of that particular match.

Uk for me, the frequency of the killer appearing in my survivor matches does seem less frequent the past couple days but as soon as people see its krasue, they instantly give up/go next/DC. people even say in pre match lobby chat they will go next if its krasue and everyone in the lobbies usually reply with "fair" "based" "same" or "understandable"

I will have to start doing this and probably include Ghoul…

i feel obliged to point out i dont condone going next or promote "negative gameplay" because its against forum rules….however i do think the warning in pre match lobby is nice, it gives people the choice to ready up or leave the lobby if they are not happy with it. better than just doing it in the match with no warning imo.

Oh no, I will just not notice terror radius and keep working on gen… happens to best of us

because it's a live balanced PVP game, and she's a new character. this is totally normal. she got adjustments from PTB, now they're being pulled back within a couple weeks in 2 dedicated back-to-back hotfixes.
I know DBD conditioned a lot of people to only accept balance changes in dedicated PTB, but getting them in HOTFIXES is WAY better for urgent adjustments and it's far more alike literally every other live balance PVP game out there. this is good. in the past 9 years, we'd traditionally only get a follow-up patch on a killer MAYBE in the following PTB, if we were insanely lucky. anything slightly larger took 1/2 a year or longer.
this is, what, 2 weeks?
you can criticize them all you want for her release state, but this sort of quick hotfix follow-up is totally fine and expected.
