100% this, I hate having to bring an add-on (that I have 5 of since it was an Iri) just to have Myers power with that janky tier 2 lunge in Tier 3. He feels like Oni but without any of the benefits, definitely one of the biggest misses BHVR has ever had. No more dead rabbit terror radius reduction, no more infinite tier 3, man that sucks.

Before the rework, his shape allowed for many strategies depending on add-on and perk combinations—he was a weak but interesting killer. The latest patch has destroyed his synergy with perks and the uniqueness of his add-ons, leaving him nothing more than a downgraded Oni or a big Chucky.

I genuinely have no reason to play this killer anymore aside from just getting fragrant tuft of hair so I can play the killer I actually enjoyed but even then he’s still weaker in this aspect because they reduced his ######### duration to 40 seconds for some reason when in evil incarnate

Not only 40 seconds duration, oni has 45 and looses 7 seconds for down but compare mayers slaughtering strike to onis demon dash and his m1 attack when he is in blood furry mode, he isnt slowed so much and can instadown more easily, has same (no ability to grab or basekit mori survivors that are dead on hook) and even more in blood furry its just like devs fear to make mayers more powerfull the want and then release killer that rivals blight and as some claims even nurse (not now she got some nerfs and will get more next patch or fix whatever will come) which is funny they are doing same things they did in 2017(being scared killer will be too much strong so they buffs were joke).

Y'know, it's funny because they actually kinda made him better at proxying & tunneling with these changes.
No stalk resource means you can just hook someone mid-map/corner and wait around while holding a 3-4 gen (better with buffed Ruin) to build up Evil Incarnate, then sit there and hold that to prevent anyone for going for a rescue like you're a budget Bubba/Billy/Oni (except like, you don't have the charge time of a chainsaw nor the need for M1 hits like Oni, and stealth on demand means you're unlikely to be pre-ran in the early game, so there's even less counterplay/interactivity in general). You can do this throughout the entire match without a care, never really committing to chases unless you have to, and then once you start getting people on death hook, relentlessly tunnel them for a grab kill (if you anticipate a DS into locker you can just hit them off hook so they get deep wound since you can grab kill slugs w/o a need for a mori). It's to the point where you can basically guarantee a 2k unless the survivor team is really coordinated in their macro, they bring reassurance/StB, the map is really terrible (Endfury helps with bad maps), etc.
Such fun, such interactivity. I wonder if this design was made with the anti-tunneling changes in mind.
