Slugging for the 4k and why it is holding the game hostage.
A survivor can't do anything but hide when the killer is slugging for the 4k. the last surv doesn't have any options other than going for the downed person or doing the 1-5 gens which either way results in a likely down. so the game is at a stale mate until ( A ) the downed person bleeds out or ( B ) the killer finds the last survivor hiding and kills him. Or ( C ) being able to revive your teammate and doing it all over again, making the game take an extra 15 min therefore I call it holding the game hostage. Where's the devs at can I get some answers. I would like y'all to clarify what holding the game hostage is. Cause if we can't progress the game until our teammate bleeds out are we not being held hostage? Or is it an exploit. Cause there using in game mechanics to the detriment of the game? Until I am answered I will continue to report. They should not be allowed to deny the last piece of hope a survivor can have.

Time is limited here, so it's not holding the game hostage. Survivor can't be slugged for infinite amount of time. The second survivor also has an option to end it at any point by going to killer.

I know you asked for a developer, but I do agree that if enough people are reporting 4k slugging it may grab the developers attention. I guess the counter argument to this would be 99ing the gate to prevent the end game timer so you can save a teammate.
I feel like the best counter to 4K slugging was distortion, and I think that’s why they got rid of it, which could mean that the developers are fully OK with 4K slugging.-3 -
The Devs...
"Lets nerf Tenacity!".

you already said the options available….heal the downed survivor or do gens like normal. if you cant do the gens out of fear of being downed then thats a loss.
holding the game hostage is avoiding the objective causing a stalemate that prevents the game from progressing, slug timer is much like hook timer in that does progress the match.
However, survivors hiding in 2 v 1 situations is holding the game hostage as they are avoiding the objective (gens) while trying to prevent the killer from chasing and killing.

You can report and it will be ignored.
Just because you say/think something, doesn't make it true.
Reality always wins.

A fast bleedout option is long overdue.

My guess is by now your continued reporting of things that aren’t reportable has simply put you in the “auto-trash bin” category, so you’re simply wasting your time by doing that.

The community likes to optimize and counter their way out of having to engage with mechanics that are meant to be engaged with. God forbid a hatch spawn and a killer can't leisurely get themselves a 4k. Can't have them risk only getting a 3k victory if they don't win the race to find the hatch.
Sarcasm about entitled killers aside, I wouldn't call it holding the game hostage. It's playing like a jerk, but not holding the game hostage.

Doesn’t count as holding the game hostage, this always holds true if there’s a timer that will eventually kill the survivor with the exception of bodyblocking a survivor in a corner before EGC has started, according to devs. Similarly, “holding the game hostage” can apply to extreme situations where the killer (doc zapping a 3 gen and refusing to chase or down survivors, even if they sit on the gen in his face) or survivors (4 man hiding at the start and never touching gens for many minutes) aren’t playing for the objective.

I feel like slugging for the 4K got MUCH more prevalent when the base-kit Cypress Mori got introduced.
Before that, it was much more common for killers to just put the 3rd survivor on the hook, and then having a race against the last survivor to find the hatch.0
