- Maybe hide the items the survivor is holding in the lobby so killers can't strategically use perks to go against it.
- Onryo should not be able to teleport back to back to get someone condemned whenever they want they're should be a cool down or break in between don't wanna keep running across the map again and again after I just inserted a tape into the tv.

I came up with this idea and of course bombarded with killer main hate. lol The first option at least. Have no idea why they are allowed to see survivor items.

Because items are powerful enough to sway the outcome of the match. Seeing what items are going into the match gives a vague, but necessary prescience to the killer so they can more appropriately embody the power role. If items were not as influential, then it would be fine to hide them in the lobby.

Killers seeing items makes most of them useless. It's too easy for a killer to go into their perks and put on lightborne because they see one flashlight on a survivor. I see it as a form of cheating. What if we were able to see killers add ons? Wouldn't be too fair huh?

Yes that'd be cheating cuz the devs currently do not intend survivors to do so, just like when survs used some widget to read ingame files to see their killer in lobby..
Killers, by design of the game, can see the survivors and prepare. May be outdated or unfair in your opinion, but it's still the "killer watches them at campfire"-premise and part of the balance.

Little mind-blowing secret: if you take tapes, Onryo has no power and can't condemn you.
I honestly don't know why it's so hard to understand after 3,5 years this killer exists in the game, but stats once again shows how many survivors don't understand and don't want to understand even basics of the game.

You don't seem to understand the asymmetry of the game. It's four players versus one, the survivors are not the power role and are not meant to be on an equal playing field with the power role, otherwise the activity turns into more of a charade than an actual game. The killer may be able to see what items are coming in, but they cannot tell what add-ons are used, they have to make an educated guess and attempt to play around the possibilities. Knowing you have an item might change the behavior of an intelligent killer, but does not decrease the power of the item.
