Why don't you mention why killer players uninstall the game?
I understand that survivor players want to avoid uninstalling the game.
However, killer players must have their own reasons for uninstalling the game.
Does this mean that killer players aren't recognized as users?
If that's the case, wouldn't it be better to just make all killers bots?

Just because they didn't mentioned it during the stream it doesn't meant they don't recognize killer issues.
They focused about stuff which are about to be tested in the upcoming PTB and that's why they talked about it.3 -
They literally asked for feedback for this and are reconsidering the changes. They didn't went through with the first iteration of anti-tunnel and anti-slug. fog vials were also adjusted quickly to adress killer issues. Also planning to give people an option to change scratch mark color.
Not every decision is perfect or the best solution for the game, but claiming that they don't care about killer players is just wrong. Behaviour adress stuff all the time.14 -

Who is useless? And the only way to fix that is individual reworks, which take time, unlike simple fixes to overall survivors, which are much simpler to do.

Why god why just do what devs indirectly want you to and thats play a-tier and above killers so its just dead by blightlight,nurseligh,ghoullight or whatever you want to play.

Because they did not even survey this. It was a hot topic when that happened. All the reasons for uninstalling were only applicable to survivor gameplay.

The data we use, is not that survey but the survey that pops up when you uninstall the game.

But same with uninstall survey? It consisted a whole option for playstyle of killer players, yet nothing about survivor one.
And both of options about killers has double meaning that can be interpreted in different ways

The problem Is BHVR absolutely refuses to fix the issues on both sides of the game.
They keep saying “slugging is bad”, but refuses to help the killer avoid hook denial strategies like pallet saves or hook sabotages.
They keep saying “camping and tunneling is bad”, but refuses to address excessive survivor hiding, or actually help killers find a different target to chase.
Just look at the latest livestream. Everything was aimed towards helping survivors. There were zero issues with piling good things for survivors, but the killer side got absolute garbage for incentives. How is extra bloodpoints supposed to help the killer spread hooks for that game?

im still trying to figure out how the feedback was clear to much handholding for surviviors in the 1st versions made devs go ahhh to much handholding for killers lets get rid of something that would be useful like aura and gen regression and give them useless bloodlust.
all they had to do for killers incentive is gen regression map wide with total damage and not current for each unique hook and maybe aura aswell that is a REAL incentive not this pathetic bloodlust and BP bonus
and before anyone says ohh you havent tested it in PTB we were right to call it out the 1st version on how bad it is before PTB and this is the same again and i bet if there isnt an outrage like the 1st version it will go through to live and game will get worse not better.

I don't get why killers would uninstall. Yall got it pretty good compared to survivors, tbh. You should be winning most of your games if you're any good.

BHVR was willing to nuke the entire game 4 years ago in favor of Killer; they're willing to make the endgame one-sided in favor of Killer; they keep Survivor perks in a weak state in favor of Killer; they even delete systems designed to help Survivor in favor of Killer.
At this point, I feel like so much has been tried to please Killer and it hasn't worked. Even when the game is handed to them, it's not enough. There is literally nothing you can do to break the victim complex prevalent with so many Killer mains. So I don't think it's the worst idea ever to focus on Survivor for a while. In my opinion.

I don’t like gen regression as a reward for not tunneling. If BHVR wants killers to chase someone else, they should give killers REAL help to actually find and get to another survivor.
Like in 2v8, where there is extremely reduced tunneling, but a lot more aura reading to help killers find someone else to chase. As killer, I don’t care at all that it’s much harder to tunnel in 2v8, because I have so much free aura reading, that I can easily get into a chase with someone else instead.

I just want something minimal like morse signal saying they'll kill gen rush (make so anything that speed up gens don't stack and rework skill checks) and bully squads. Is that too much to ask?

Have you ever played the game before that patch? It was EXTREMELY MISERABLE for killers that NO ONE wants to play killer. Killer queues were always instant, whereas survivors have to wait 5-10 minutes for one game.

That was the time I started playing this game 😅
My first survivor que time was around 10-15 minutes
And then, like in a year, I used to play with meta perks such as DS, DH, Unbreakable/Iron will, Self Care, all the boosted #########
And I was one of those people who hated killers and their "camp/slug/tunnel" tactics

So, I kinda agree, more killer role nerfs = potentially more que time for survivors as it was in 2019/2020

killers have it very easy and i don't want to pretend that there's no skill or no requirement to play killer. obviously there is. but even really bad killers tend to have a 50% kill rate, or in the ballpark of. that's pretty good when you're not good at the game. a lot of really good survivors don't have a 50% escape rate. so to me it's just comical that it's even a discussion.

Genrush will never disappear; they are perfectly aware that it's the only thing that allows the vast majority of players to achieve a win as survivor. If the game was more skill-oriented, the kill rate would skyrocket.

Yeah this is what I don't understand about this. Killer is designed to get 60% and survivor is designed to get 40%. It's intended the killer defeat two to three individual people per match. I can maintain a 60% with no effort yet I feel I struggle just for that 40%.

Considering survivors have been quiting en mass, I think it seems silly to even ask that. Plus, I think killers are essentially in paradise with the game. They are treated like kings are treated.

That survey has the same issues . No options for bully squads , swfs , sabo squads fast gens etc….

I took it to mean, that the top 3 reasons for uninstalling were as listed. Every other reason was an insignificant portion of the uninstalls.

Try playing your favorite killer, working, studying and practicing your ass off to get good at it just to get screwed out of a fair game and ultimately regulated by 'endurance.' Now play thousands of times, then watch over the years as the devs constantly butcher your tools and roll out system after system that piles more weight on your shoulders while lifting it off the survivors, making the good players virtually uncatchable while making the bad ones feel like they're good. Get told that you're bad and wrong for winning and get called every name in the book for figuring out anything that allows you to be more efficient at killing with your favorite killer. Now get the pallet density increased on you as you get treated like an NPC that can be infinitely nerfed by a company that gives a snide smirk and claims they're not biased.
Tell me it doesn't feel like the shittiest thing you've ever experienced in a game.

We don't know what the survey looks like. It might be rigged to have a bunch of survivor-sided reasons, but not enough killer-sided reasons.
I remember seeing an official survey before, where it asked to rank unfun things, and survivor issues were all clearly listed, but I didn't see anything for what killers might find unfun.

I did and I hear that a lot but I don't know that I agree. I remember the game being incredibly busted for a long time, but by the time they introduced the patch, a lot of that had been toned down or reverted. And seeing how Killers operate now when the game has become more accessible than ever… it just seems like nothing will ever be good enough.

Killer don't get to select anything bad about survivors. Where is the "Survivor items or add-ons are unbalanced", or "generator speeds are too fast"?
How on earth is BHVR supposed to gather data about killers being unhappy, if the surveys are rigged against killers?

It was one survey if I remember correctly, and given how the surveys on things like limited time cosmetics, linked sets, event modifiers, and so on were handled, I'd take it with a grain of salt. Speaking personally.

But when BHVR says killer strategies need to be fixed because of exit survey results, and the exit surveys are rigged, then "take it with a grain of salt" doesn't work.
Instead it's "killers are getting nerfed because of rigged survey questions".

I'm just going to point out that, if one of the most common reasons for uninstalling the game is tunneling, and then you immediately pull the changes and push out effectively nothing meaningful...
That is the opposite of bringing players back to the game who leave for this reason.
You're actively signaling to those players that "you left for good reason, we aren't going to meaningfully address this issue".

Funny they are fixing “these problematic killer strategies” same way as 3 gening, when three gen was gibbest issue was when skullmerchant came to DBD with gen kick meta, combination of poor gen spawn with strong gen kick perks that can be used on gen (gen can be kicked) ifinity times with no gen regression limit (how many times gen can be damaged before is blocked) lead to multiple nerfs of skullmerchant and than biggest nerf in DBD history that put her into f-tier, it lead to copleat nerf of gen kick perks which werent main root of that problem with skullmerchant and what solved it. Changing the spawn location of gens so no busted 3 gens can be spawned with adding limit how many times gen can be damaged to 8.
Devs will try to solve the tunneling with sluging and proxy only with nerfs and than they will come up with valid solution that should be the first thing but its last thing in bhvr fassion, the previous nerfs that wont be needed will stay ofcourse thats how it will go.
So whats current solution for killers that are playing weaker main like sadako, ghostface or clown? Well you either blight up and play how devs want you or suffer with your main and last option is to change role for survivor or stop playing till they find that balanced solution.
I dont see any other way and just waiting to see posts like why I play against same 6 killers, where are the m1 killers.

There are two surveys here, but neither of them has a question about "Why did killer players uninstall the game?"

Nor does it ask why survivor players uninstalled.
It asks why you uninstalled, irrespective of role.
So if you are a killer player, you can tell them why you uninstalled.

Does that mean you think the above survey is fair, because it's not asking why killer players uninstalled, and instead it's irrespective of role? And if you are a survivor player, you could just tell them why you uninstalled?

Because right now, it looks more like folks are mad that they deigned to give players the option to say 'tunnelling', than any legitimate concern about not being able to communicate frustrations to the devs.

That's what the Other (Please Specify) option is for. You could've listed all your Killer grievances there.
But then we all know what would have happened; all those things would have been addressed, while none of the Survivor grievances would be addressed, if the recent and upcoming changes are anything to go by…

If the options in the current survey were reversed, people would use completely different arguments, talking about unfairness and bias. If flipping the coin is enough to change the words of these same people (without any "but," "if," "what"), then they're being seriously disingenuous. I congratulate the developers on yet another way to divide people in their own game.

The fact is it should be on there to give clean data on reasons of uninstall which in turns gives healthier balance changes to address issues on BOTH sides. Getting told for killers to right in the others boxes instead of having choice boxes is also insulting as it would take devs longer to go through the others boxes compare to a check box
These excuses to not give killers a fair uninstall survey is pathetic and if you actually care about the game you would be saying there should be checkboxes to explain killers uninstall aswell

Let's start with 80% of the killer roster being bugged to hell. Some killers being bugged to damn near unplayable. But the second Decisive Strike has a bug, or flashlights…HOTFIX.
