Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

When a survivor dc's first chase...

What do you do? Do you as ether side take the match less seriously?

Personally I take it easier and often dont make an actual attempt at winning. And just focus on getting bp

Question is, what do you do if it keeps happening over and over. Do you still take it easy or do you start to feel like you're babysitting?

Out of all my recent matches its a rare occurrence so I dunno. I know its apparently still a phenomenon tho.

Kinda depends for me. Bots are super useful for tasks, they're just garbage in chase. But if I ignore the bot as killer, the gens will get done. Two DCs will usually make me pull back. Three is an automatic out for the remaining person. I've found most killers also do this. Morally, I don't know how you don't, but I've had a few.

As survivor, I'm okay with one bot as well. They're, at the very least, a good distraction. I don't consider it an auto loss if there's one bot. I've won plenty of matches with DCs.

I had a match the other day against a Spirit where someone DCed early. The killer body blocked me in the basement and slugged me repeatedly for no obvious reason. Felt like I was being griefed. Then she let us go with a slug race. Turns out it was because of the DC, so I guess she was just screwing around.

I play normally and make sure to save and heal the bot if no one else does. As long as we have some distraction, we've got a chance.

Depends really. If the other survivors are still trying I’ll carry on but prioritise the bot. If they wanna farm I’ll sometimes do that. Sometimes I think we all just wanna get to a normal game asap so just end it quick.

When I played a lot a killer a couple years ago at this point I would just afk in the middle of the map. NO one is going to have fun that game regardless, unless a survivor was emoting me to chase. On survivor I still play the game normally.

I usually try to end the match as quickly as possible to let everyone get to the next match and will give hatch to the last remaining survivor that is not a bot.

Target the bot out, double hook everyone else and let them leave. I don't see too many DCs thankfully

You may as well let them go or just kill them for fun because the whole match dont count.

I play the game as I normally would as either role.

There was a time when I would be more lenient as a Killer if a Survivor DCed early, but Survivors do it so frequently these days my patience for "babysitting" has worn out.

As survivor and killer, it makes no difference to me if people DC. i play the same way regardless. as survivor i do what i need to do to get the gates open or get the hatch. As killer, im looking to get kills is fast as possible (which im sure the last survivor appreciates the match ending fast instead of dragging it out). if i find the player first im going for the kill. if i find the bot first im going for the kill.
