(2v8) Reworking the Brute Killer Class
Team Skill
New:
Whenever you perform the Break action while this Skill is active, the following effects apply:
- Increases the Breaking speed by +25 %.
- Reduces the duration of Pallet Stuns by 50 %.
This Skill has a cool-down of 30 seconds after use.
Removed:
Whenever you perform the Break action while this Skill is active, the following effects apply:
- Grants the other Killer a +10 % Haste Status Effect for 8 seconds, if they are within 32 metres of the Breaking action.
Reveal Skill
New:
Whenever you break a Pallet or Breakable Wall, you benefit from the following effect:
- All Survivors within 32 metres scream and their Auras are revealed for 5 seconds.
This Skill only affects The Brute.
Removed:
Whenever you perform the Damage Generator action, you benefit from the following effect:
- Increases the Aura-reveal range of the accompanying Revealed Status Effect by +8 metres.
Why?
Because the removed parts of the Team Skill and Reveal Skill felt uninspired. Nearly every Killer class Team Skill includes some form of Haste, which comes across as repetitive rather than creative. It feels like Haste has become the default filler effect instead of something that adds real identity.
The same goes for the old Reveal Skill, most reveal-type abilities simply reveals Survivor auras with no unique twist or interaction. It’s predictable and lacks the flavor that could make each Killer class feel distinct.

You say that about haste, but aura reading is pretty common as well when there is so much of it in 2v8, so maybe turn it into thwack where they scream as well to make it funny?
