The way to properly buff Ghostface is in 2v8's fearmonger class
Like the title says, the way the fearmonger class in 2v8 provides a speed boost whilst unseen is an excelently compatible possible buff to current 1v4 ghostface. The simplest way to buff ghostface's stealth and map pressure, whilst keeping him dependant on stealth is a buff to his speed while unseen, more specifically whilst cloaked:
- Ghostface's stealth mode gains a 10% speed buff.
(considering these percentages are based on '100%' speed, it would go from 4.6m/s to 5m/s, this gives the killer more potential to pop up in unexpected places to stalk people)
- The speed buff only applies if GF is more than 8 meters away from unmarked players.
(stops using the speed as a general chase tool, as unmarked players cannot be easily ambushed with it, and can look at GF to get him off of his stealth mode and speed buff, it also serves as an incentive to try and mark players before getting too close, as to preserve your speed)
Overall, this would help give ghostface more map mobility, making good players less predictable in their approaches, and more capable of applying map pressure while making sure they keep as hidden as they can, both to preserve the element of surprise, and their speed.

I actually think this is really good and I genuinely mean it. I like this one because unlike other suggestions for ghostface buffs similar to this you've actually built in a way for it to not be a chase tool. However, I must say that for him to have something like this that doesn't get disabled when chasing marked survivors, they'd have to make the reveal mechanic much better because as of right now it loves to reveal from halfway across the map or just never.

Yeah I've played against him a lot and he feels a lot more scary in 2v8 despite all the extra pallets etc, makes it more important to bring him out of cloak when you can.

Yeah, its surprising how a little bit of map mobility that doesnt go into chase helps him feel just better and scarier. It's fun to play as, and very scary in a fun way to go against.

yeah for sure, I'd love to see it in 1v4 to see how it fares
