Suggested Demogorgon buffs
I think we all agree that Demogorgon is in a weak state currently. That's why I wanna propose some buffs for the cutest dog from the fog.
First, let's address what is Demogorgon good at. Demogorgon has a really strong chase power, with its shred Demogorgon is able to clear pallets and zone survivors from any straight lines. It sounds pretty basic, but it's a good power, fun for both sides since there is skill expression for both the killer by aiming and timing the dash and the survivor by baiting and dodging it, hence, I don´t think this part of the power really needs much buffs, I'd just leave it as it currently is.
However, the other part of the portal is a completely different story the portals feel outdated, clunky and useless or niche at best in 90% of scenarios. The biggest problem about these portals relies in my opinion on 2 factors. The first one is the inability to tp from wherever you want, and the ability for survivors to permanently get rid of them. So basically, with demogorgon to tp you need first to place a portal in one side of the map, and be on top of another portal, both acting as an exit gate and an entry gate, unable to access an exit without an entrance. This imo for a killer has a relatively slow teleportation and it also gives a global warning to all survivors that you've used the tp is a huge upset to the use of these portals, they give too much time for survivors to react, and they are not easily accessible for the killer neither, so in a lot of cases, the demogorgon would just end up walking since going through all the issue about using the portals is not worth it because survivors would just pre-run anyways, giving them a really long head start on a chase, basically negating most of demogorgon's strength in chase, since survivors can just mindlessly hold W away from you with no reward for you to have used your tps.
To fix this issue I propose changing how portals work, as for the change, I would propose the portals to only act as an "exit gate", you would not need to stand on top of one of these portals in order to tp to them, to place them you would need to hold M2 and then place it down by holding secondary power button. Then to teleport, the demogorgon will just open the ground and teleport to any portal you are currently looking to by holding the secondary power button. This buff intends to make placing portals more efficiently since you wouldn't need to place a portal in a random place in order to just get access to this power and incentive placing them all in better spots, also on the same track, the demogorgon can now be able to leave any bad chase by simply teleporting to a gen, making its gameplay have an even heavier focus on chase than it has currently, allowing survivors to have less reaction time and even with the current teleporting speed. On top of that, to give an even bigger incentive for demogorgon to use the portals, I would also completely get rid of the undetectable and give it an effect to block the next window you vault after you use a teleport, it would be a one thing burn, but this change would remove the necessity to always bring bamboozle with demo, while not giving it an eternal, no downside bamboozle, since you would only be able to block one window once per chase. The next issue is the permanent removal of the teleports which I would like to address next.
While the first buff would make the portals pretty useful already, I think that survivors being able to permanently remove your power is not really fun in my opinion, that is one of the factors why killers like trapper and hag are really frustrating however, in the case of trapper and hag, their powers usually lead to a down or an M1 at best, that's why in my opinion it is balanced to be able to permanently remove them until the killer comes back to replace them, but if you've noticed, this is not the case for demogorgon, since the teleport as I have already stated, is pretty slow and it gives a fair amount of time for survivors to react to you, hence, what I propose is for survivors to be able to temporarily seal a portal, rather than permanently seal it. Right now, the time to seal a portal is 9 seconds by a single survivor, I propose reducing that time to 5 seconds, however, the portal would only be sealed for around 20-25 seconds, punishing portals that are right on top of a generator, but making it way less reliable to seal portals on top of hills or on spots that are out of the way of survivors. Also, portals would be visible for survivors from the very moment they are placed down, no more "hidden portals".
These 2 buffs aim to increase the overall power of demogorgon without directly buffing its shred, which if buffed could led to unfun and oppressive gameplay, but instead, giving demogorgon more map control and a reason to be constantly using the portals in order to regain the window blocking effect for the next chase, while making its gameplay much more dynamic for everyone, not having to always rely on abusing your really strong chase power to tunnel out a survivor and that way be at least able to play the game in a 3v1. Being able to go to any portal on command sounds interesting. Also, fixing Shred to be able to damage crouched survivors on lower surfaces would help a lot too.

The portal idea does sound good. Demos portals are kinda outdated I think being able to teleport to any existing portal from anywhere can be a thing

That's a good thought. But I think they should completle remove his teleport ability. Instead make it like in the new season of stranger things. You can traverse into the upside-down from everywhere, it's basically the same map but looks like the old Freddy's dream world. You can't see the survivors and they can't see you. You move really fast in the upside-down, maybe on all fours. If you're near survivors you get killer instinct and can traverse back to real world. Survivors on the other hand get a little light at the start of a trial, which begins to flicker if the demo is near in upside-down. So they have the chance to run away. Maybe add a battery like mechanic to it.. so they have to recharge if they want to get information. Just my thoughts for a rework.. i think this ability would be pretty lore accurate but don't know how balanced it would be.

Well comparing his portals to springtraps its easy to see who gets better ones not to mentione stealth like springtrap 15 seconds basekit oblivious without global warning he used his doors (portal) and demo? 5 seconds oblivious with global sound cue that warns everyone he is using portal pretty balanced indeed, deffinitely not outdated.
Now there is kinda hope if new chapter will be stranger things then there is chance demo will get some updates but I hope devs see it same and that they wont do another money grab with new strong killer and survivors with strong perks while leaving poor demo in outdated state like street dog because he doesnt give them that money anymore.0
