Hyperfocus, Stakeout nerd

Hyperfocus and Stakeout have been plaguing the game for to long now cause gens to pop way faster than intended. Hyperfocus needs to get it's percentage halved and Stakeout needs to take longer in the terror radius

Or make it so stakeout does not trigger hyperfocus stacks unless manually hitting a great skill check.

    I don't see a issue with it.

for one its taking up two perk slots, half of the perks you can bring now stuck on just gen perks

If the killer is a low terror radius killer, (eg Myers Wraith) stake out is not going to see any stacks

and since they are two gen perks, if the killer decides to chase you, or even tunnel you out of the game, those perks see no value.

now compare too deja vu which I see way more commonly , you get the gen speed bonus and information so even if you get chased all game you can use the information given with aura to chase away from 3 gens as well as just working default not dependent on skill checks or the killers terror radius, IMO deja vu is much more useful then this combo when used by the average player

Isn’t it better just provide a limit for repair bonus?

Instead of nerfing perks, or completely forbidding them to stack, what about just make a max cap you can reach to prevent ridiculous numbers?

My only “gen build” when I brought toolbox is having dejavu, hyperfocus, troubleshooter/build to last, fogwise/sprint burst. I don’t want hyperfocus be nerfed just because sfw stack it with 4 BNPs, stake out, and playing engineer simulator. Just making the extreme side of such builds useless already solving every issue you can have with generators.

Hyperfoces from 30 % to 10 % and stake out giving one stack per 50s in TR seems fair.
