Hot take: Fillers SHOULD be weak to loop
The main tiles (like TL's, jungle gyms etc.) should be the preferred loops for survivors, whereas fillers should just be…well…*fillers.* I think it's fine as-is.

I agree, since I feel the game has been heavily leaning on looping than respecting the terror radius, though I would prefer them adding things like dead-zones with extreme LOS blockers in some of those zone, be it foliage/fog etc, line-of-sight play (like you would do against the Nurse).

Not a hot take, it's true.

Except it's ALL fillers with how maps are constructed nowadays.
Look at the newest maps: Greenville, Fallen Refuge, Freddy's.
All of them have maybe 2-3 structures, and the rest are fillers.
And if I got it correctly, Disturbed Ward for instance had some loops removed. So there are now more fillers.

Some maps are completely lacking of constructions. Some of them build in a way only to be on edges, some inly in middle. And fillers still should be playable, it just should be less of them but with better quality.
I think less people complained on current maps if there were more consistency4 -
Yeah that's the main issue I've noticed with the pallets it would be ok if the fillers where weak if we had a fair amount of jungle gyms in the map that where not just in the corners of the map.
Yamaoka Estate Family Residence from what I tested was spawning 4-5 jungle gyms spread over the map which I think is fair
meanwhile Temple of Purgation only had two jungle gyms each in opposite corners of the map when I tested in customs.1 -
Weak in a way that it comes to 50/50, but right now we have many spawns that are more like 0/100….

Fillers should be weak for m1 killers, average in general, and against S tier killers be strong. Probably would take years for BHVR to implement though.

Yeah I agree with this specifically, I honestly want more consistency with the maps these days. That's why I like RPD/Gideons/Dead Dawgs etc

I agree, there should be more interesting tiles. I like the idea of landmark tiles. Small tiles that are stronger than the current fillers and more recognisable, but they occur on multiple maps and realms and they are smaller and still less preferable than a shack tile or a jungle gym. That way we can consistently learn them and how to play around them and they might be cool little set pieces or props, without them being OP. Could even have licensed landmarks.
The only consideration would be ensuring they don't clutter up maps so maybe around 1 or 2 per match.
