Is there any confirmation on how MMR works in Map Showcases, and what Game Mode stats they count as?
I'm interested to know if Map Showcases have the same MMR as regular trials.
MMR certainly seems to be turned off for seasonal events and 2v8, or at least significantly widened the matching pool.
I'm also interested which of the game categories on the official DBD stats tracker that Map Showcase matches count towards, if any.

1v4 events like Haunted by Daylight and Twisted Masquerade counted towards my regular 1v4 stats. I recall it being stated in the past that they do use your regular MMR for matchmaking in events but that you don't gain or lose any in those matches. I'd imagine it's a little loose though, just for how much it splits the queues.

Personally I'd imagine it works the same way at least for stat tracking and MMR gains or losses since it's basically the same as a regular 1v4 match. The only difference is you're guaranteed to get a specific map which you still could have otherwise gotten anyway so there's not really any reason to calculate things differently.
Whether the queue uses the usual MMR matching though I could see them wanting to broaden the pool of players for each side and making that work a little more loosely.

Regarding the stats tracker, until BHVR changes their inexplicable decision to exclude matches with abandons, there’s no reason to bother because the stats are completely bogus. Most matches have at least one abandon so the stats tracker is working with a completely invalid data set.

It's a grabage system but abandons only affect the abandoner. If you don't use the feature then your own stats are accurate.

The map showcase queue, does have the same MMR as the regular queue and it's affected by wins & losses in the same way.
The only difference is for Events, then MMR is used for Matchmaking only and you do not gain or lose depending on the match outcome!

I take it Map Showcases are stat tracked as Regular Trials on the tracker, then.
