If Any Means Grants +500 BP for Picking Up Pallets, Human Greed Should Grant BP For Closing Chests
If Any Means Necessary can grant an infinite +500 BP for Picking Up Pallets (which is an interaction exclusive to this perk and they can then be immediately thrown down and picked back up again for more BP), I think it's fair if Human Greed grants BP for closing chests.
If not, remove the bonus BP from Any Means Necessary since we've been on a years-long campaign of being told bloodpoints shouldn't be tied to perks anymore and this is an inconsistency.

I think Human Greed should show you the aura of open chests too. It's annoying losing track of where they are sometimes.

I actually agree, I didn't know that it didn't give BP for closing chests. It absolutely should!
I don't play killer nearly as much as survivor, but I feel like there's quite a few perks like this where it feels like using it should provide a BP event? There's a lot of things in killer gameplay I don't think provide nearly as much BP (if any) as they should.

I understand your frustration & I agree Human Greed should have a score event tied to it.
That being said, removing the BP bonus from AMN obviously isn't the play.

My argument isn't that everyone should suffer together, my argument is I am criticizing inconsistent design philosophy because these inconsistencies snowball into a problem that DBD has that's much greater than any one individual problem.
The devs have said they don't want bloodpoints to be a reason why certain perks are chosen, yet allow things like this to remain in the game. When the developers directly contradict themselves like this, it makes it difficult to believe that even they believe in their own design philosophy. Inconsistency makes it difficult to believe in their public statements and official communications.
In a time where dev/community relations are their most strained, these inconsistencies are critical to avoid and will boil to a tipping point. It's important, IMO, they stand their ground.
For example, If we are sticking to certain design principles like "perks shouldn't affect powers", then stick to that design philosophy rather than cherry picking a couple perks like Saboteur while letting Adrenaline hard counter Freddy by waking up Survivors for the better part of a decade.
When Clown was accidentally given two addons that did almost the exact same thing, they were changed rather quickly.
Now, Pinhead has 2 addons of the same rarity that do the exact same thing, except one addon is exponentially better stats-wise and more useful than the other. Nothing is being communicated about that, despite much outcry over it.It's frustrating to be told or promised one thing and delivered another, and the point of me bringing this up isn't to start an argument but rather to critique poor developer communications and inconsistent design principles.
When half-baked and sweeping changes are made in an effort to make low-cost, high-value changes, the game is left in a state of absolute disarray, as we have seen the last several months.
My point is, I'm trying to call attention to the fact that the developers need to stick to principles and statements that they communicate, or else they risk appearing either unaware or deliberately neglectful of any individual aspect of the game that they claim to take care to - even if they're not doing so on purpose! In fact, I highly doubt that they are intentionally cherrypicking and ignoring their own principles in this scenario and it's rather something that just slipped under the radar, but inconsistent is how it appears.

tbf i do think human greed should give blood points since its an action taken by the player to contribute to the trial, i just didn't think it was fair to say to remove bp bonus from any means the way you did

I think there should be a topic by me suggesting this a long time ago in this same forum.
