(EXTREMELY IMPORTANT) CHEATERS PROBLEM
Hello everyone.
The problem I wanna talk about has been there for YEARS and it keeps getting belittled on a large scale.
I've played Doctor and won many matches and my win rate spiked, therefore I got into better lobbies and just met a cheater SWF again.
They all were subtle cheaters.
I know having a clip would be amazing in that situation but I didn't pay attention to the survivors in lobby and got surprised because of that.
I know that avoiding alt-gen Epic Games survivors / anonymous users (especially) is essential since they are subtle cheaters.
Can you dear devs FINALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?
Cheaters themselves admitted to me they are doing this for 6+ months in a row and never got banned.
That goes BOTH for subtle and BLATANT cheaters.
I also saw the same BLATANT CHEATER from 3+ months ago in my lobby who was moonwalking with like 2x my speed LOL
And guess what? Dude is still not banned, just jumping from lobby to lobby freely without a care in the world. Even funnier, this guy is doing this on Steam LOL !!!
This game is RUINED by cheaters. They are not only parasites but also the biggest disrespect to dedicated Killer mains that invested time and patience to get better.
The only killers that can do something about such cheaters are Blight/Nurse. When they are zooming like they have perma 15% haste, then low tier killers can't do absolutely anything.
I know in that situation I could just leave but that's just beyond embarrassing how much BS dedicated players have to endure simply because you guys are doing NOTHING to improve the anti-cheat and stop lying about banning cheaters since you guys turned off the automatic bans a long time ago.

Cheaters have more fun and rights than people that paid for this game and devs favor them so sad truth is nothing is being done right now about this issue just we are getting new things.
I have started to see more swf that play with cheater to get more "fun" which is actualy bully killer and getting free escape which I find sick behavior, even some ttv playing with cheater (you cant prove that easily but its was obvious from gameplay) for content even I have noticed more cheaters having content chanels on YT and I bet on other platforms like tiktok they they are spreading there too which is kinda sad.
It looks that the future of DBD will be in monthly paying for cheats to be able to paly it and have fun which is sick but it looks like it.

Shaming cheaters in DBD is a crime against hummanity by itself it seems.

I have seen Youtube shorts where people were literally advertising cheats for DBD. Needless to say that those were reported, and heavily disliked.
Personally, I don't care if people shame on cheaters, but on here we'd better stick to the rules.
Also, the anti-cheat system needs to be improved considerably, so that cheating isn't easily accessible, like it is today.8 -
i always try to help the killer get the cheater because cheaters absolutely suck, i’ve noticed however the killer players more often than not just kill me.

Sometimes to get that cheater you must pretend to go for another survivor in order to bait him, they aften have main character sydrom (cheaters) and will try to be a hero but in these days I seeing more things like getting healed super fast way more than before or healing before killer can make another m1 hit or instahealing, than you cant hook them and they can just dc without penalty and leave bot stuck on your shoulder till you dc or server dies which is 1 hour or another player can be stuck on your shoulder its hard now you dont know which cheats they can use and there is almost anything in their hands.
I just meeting more groups that play with cheater like 2 survivors standing near lockers where was cheater that had auto headon and way lower cooldown or none but he just didnt stun me for eternity but rather want to stun me for content and these two were 100% with him because how could they know where to stand at the start and bait me to lockers all the time, than the third steave came and join them so these things are more and more common for me even happened to me several times where one survivor wanted to help me and cheater made his model stuck for me but I have got info from that survvior that he was stuck in some random locker and by this we were held hostage so its hard to know how to counter these plays from cheaters because there are more new cheats than fixes to old ones.

I love how it extends to people actually posting links to cheaters who are live streaming using heavy ones like wall hacks, no M1 cooldown, instant gens and nothing happens to them and the person doing the report gets banned here.

Unfortunately, unless BHVR introduces IP/hardware bans to the game, cheaters will almost always be in the game. If I recall correctly, there was a period of time where Dead by Daylight was completely free on Xbox and Epic Games. Cheaters took advantage of this and botted hundreds of accounts they could use to swap to if they got banned. So right now, there is literally nothing to be done about cheaters.
It really sucks, and I think BHVR should be held accountable and forced to do so much better, but unfortunately, that's not really feasible. The most we can do is hope they eventually introduce hardware banning and IP banning. It won't solve the issue entirely due to VPNs and hardware spoofing, but it will definitely help A LOT to reduce the amount of cheaters.

BHVR and cheat developers play a game of cat and mouse, where everyone tries to counter the other, it's never going to end, and it's not EAC that's going to help. Nice attempt by BHVR to try to hide the complaints

It can be ended for good if they just implement server-sided validation of client's action, like all the other modern multiplayer games. The only cheats that are not counterable by this are wallhacks, aimbots and such, but obvious nonsense like speedhacks, flying, messing with the game's logic, can be just made impossible. The main problem is people's ignorance about this fact, and it leads to repeating of the same mantra about "you can't defeat it for good, it's cat and mouse" like this, which makes unaware players underestimate the scale of the problem and how much DbD actually lacks in this department.
