What would you love to see in the next 2v8

I know adding more Killers will take time because of balancing but I wwould want them to add everyone to 2v8 even if its just OG characters. The reason is that 2v8 gets bland after a while and having more options will be amazing. All survivors all Killers. It might take time but if they play there cards right and actually balance there game. Im sure it will be amazing to see.

What are the possible changes or things you want

    For Escapist to be nerfed into a more balanced state again and not the game ruining survivor class that it is.

    I think this version of 2v8 has been pretty darn good. I’ve been having a lot of fun on both sides. Not having Legion has been SO nice on the survivor side. Really the only thing that has been frustrating is bad teammates. 2v8 brings in a lot of players who can’t last more than 5 seconds in chase and/or refuse to touch gens.

    • Remove Unlockable Skills, because it incentivises tunnelling
    • Rework Green Tonic effect for survivor
    • Rework the override mechanic when nemesis and wesker are together = currently the antitodes make both killers worse
    • Rework brute and buff fearmongers team skill. Again. They have made them so weak.
    • Add Springtrap and Ghoul

    12 months between 2v8 release to make room for different events as this one is staaaaaale.

    Add more killers.

    Bring legion back.

    Escapist Class should be killer hit or vault activated.

    Hard limit on survivor class picks, if killers can't have two shadows etc then survivor shouldn't have more than 2 of either class.

    Tone down aura reads on both sides, takes the fun of the hunt and the thrill of discovery away.

    Add 2 more generators.

    And a really controversial choice but remove cage teleports...that's hurt me more getting rescued and rescues than it has being camped.

    I just want Legion back. It's been too long already.

    Other than that, some more new classes. And maybe we could have the cages move again after a little while if nobody comes to save you, so I don't have to watch yet another oblivious Claudette work on a gen 20 meters away as I go to second stage. I'd rather take my chances than experience that again.

    I want to be able to invite friends to my survivor ques when being in the killer wait Que. Just let me play with my friends while queing for killer.

    Sadako as killer would be awesome and I need a forever entwindend, bambuzle and bbq effect in one of the killer classes.

    Give us both Vecnas.

    Remove button activated sprint burst. Do not put crystals back into the game that remove hook stages. Maybe make new class for killers as well.

    Make Wesker's footsteps louder

    He's not overpowered in the slightest, but tiny TR Wesker is the only thing in the game that has made me audibly scream so far. ):

    Jokes aside, I'd like something marginally more interesting with the tonics. I think people overstate how strong they are for survivors, as they are a limited resource that increase in value over the course of the game, but the longer they are left the more likely it is a killer is going to to snag them for a speed boost. The speed boost is not really all that important, but denying hook state recovery is huge.

    Still, if survivors get to reduce their opponents' progress towards their objective, let tonics do the same for killers. Instead of a speed boost, have the blue tonic block the gen with the most progress for 15 seconds, maybe the green could cause a PR like effect?

    Also, maybe I'm just unlucky, but I've been killed by the anti-camp cage teleport twice, as it has moved me away from my entire team more than once because a killer walked past. Not sure the solution but would prefer something a bit more consistent.

    More survivor classes.

    As a survivor main, i rather play killer 2v8.

    Alot more interesting and i have alot of options to farm bp later on, via offerings or other events.

    There are far fewer complaints about 2v8 mode now that Legion have been removed. For myself personally, I am enjoying 2v8 far more on the survivor side with no Legion. I realize that some people enjoy Legion but BHVR can’t make everyone happy and there are far more people who hate Legion.

    Nemesis was so bad and useless in previous 2v8 versions. He needs something to make him a bit stronger. To compensate for one fewer zombie, maybe a shorter cooldown or longer range for his special attack?

    Probably the removal of the gamemode, given the complete destruction of 1v4 while it's active.

    I agree with this. This mode is not fun anymore. 30 minutes of queue to play one match as killer, come on and playing survivor on this feels like being a training bag

    Agreed. Or at least make it appear less than it is now. Mode isnt fun anymore, if anything its getting stale. Maybe add it once a year only.

    I'd rather see chaos and lights out return more often.

    I also agree with this but sadly it seems like majority of players flock to the mode, probably because of the bonus bloodpoints. But as a long time player, 2v8 is just not very enjoyable. The design is not very good and refined like 1v4 is. They update it less with each iteration so my interest is steadily going down.

    Even the whole appeal of playing with a 2nd killer is being stripped away. The way classes are designed now don't encourage teammwork like they used to. Killers like Dracula and Wesker can down survivors on their own because they are mega buffed for some reason.

    Add henry and demo. That combination would such a vibe. And one more special survivor skin for the stanger rhings cast so we can run a full set of 8 unique starnger things survivors against the 2 killers.

    I think is practically confirmed because during the live stream they pointed out they almost have enough characters to fill a 2v8 lobby and then dave winks at the camera

    The remaining character could easily be Max as a legendary for Eleven

    no disrespect to Chuck, we need any new Killers to alleviate both survivor and killer boredom. but the ST combo woulda went hard, I vinged the whole series in just under 2 weeks to prepare myself

    I have a answer for on this. Its because everyone wants to play Killer. There's not alot of survivors playing Survivor because its no different than 1v4

    I just want Houndmaster or Sadako in 2v8. Haha.

    I also would like to see Gen mechanic gone. Survivors get to speed up on gens if killers are doing well AKA punishing killers, but if survivors are doing well, nothing happens for the killer. Its very annoying.

    A way, only for other survivors, to see on the character model of a survivor what class they are carrying. Maybe an armband or so. The hud icons are rather small and you have to scan the whole roster and even then two players might have the same char.

    I did happen quite often, that I could have opened the gate faster, 'cos of the guide class, if the on there would have let me.

    Honestly, I'm cool with this. I use to be so excited for 2v8 and wanted it to be perm. Now I don't want to play it. Takes forever to get in a normal game now. It's the most survivor sided update that it's frustrating and not fun playing as killer. On demand sprint burst and a flashlight class is broken in this mode. Three people being able to heal and gens going off left and right. Queue times have been quicker when my friend wants to play.

    It says 24 minutes but we get into a game in about 12 minutes (I set a stopwatch each time. It's always around 12 minutes). I don't know if less people are playing killer or what but it did take 25 plus minutes last 2v8.

    And there have been times where it says 8 mins left and we get in right away after doing an easy survivor round.

    You guys ruined it, now I just want 2v8 gone and that legit makes me sad. Excited for Trickster map, tho!

    The next thing I want in 2v8 is its removal and never come back again, because it has destroyed the 1v4 queue times and is very survivor sided. I don't play the game during 2v8.

    Better game balance. Like I know 2v8 is meant to be the more casual, less balanced mode, but that doesn't mean it should just be a completley unbalanced clownshow either, like it is now.

    Killer will ALWAYS have long queue times in 2v8, just because playing co-op with another Killer is something you can only do in 2v8. Like even in the current state of 2v8, Survivor is absurdly overpowered compared to Killer yet everyone still wants to play as Killer because it's unique.

    Like the only way Killer queue times will ever not be stupidly long in 2v8 is if they do something crazy like giving out Iridescent Shards for playing Survivor, which they will never do.

    Something else I was talking to some friends about that would be great is a better scoring system. One that provides better incentives for being part of the team. The game overall expects Survivor to die more often than not, which is its own can of worms, but death should not equal loss. I think the team should get scored as a team. Say you get 1/2 the points for every objective completed that you're not involved with and everyone gets a big bonus if even one player makes it out/one player is killed (for Killer obvs).

    I don't have high hopes they'd do something like that for a number of reasons (namely ego), but I do think it would improve morale quite a bit.

    Yeah I've always found it baffling that Survivors are scored individually and not as a team.
    Like if I do a huge amount of gen progress or lead the Killer on long chases, but end up dying while all 3 other Survivors escape, that shouldn't be a loss for me! All my team-mates got out and the Killer lost hard!

    100%. If you're meant to work together as a team and feel part of a team, you should share more benefits. You loop the Killer long enough for me to pop the gen, so I get points for your success and you gets points for mine. If they wanted to they could limit it to escapes, but I like the idea of everything being rewarded to avoid that constant feeling of "I queued up and I have nothing to show for it because I got tunneled out immediately".

    I remember the reason for not doing that in the past was some BS about fairness, but it's truly not that deep. For a largely casual game, there's no reason to be so stringent about it.

    Another issue with the current MMR system is that it makes the endgame boring.
    In the current system, survivors have zero reason to risk going for a save, since according to the MMR system, the only thing that counts as a win is you personally escaping.

    You could make a big play like rescuing your other 3 team-mates from the basement, sacrificing yourself so all 3 of them could escape, but according to the MMR system, you suck at the game if you do that.

    In the current MMR system, you have zero reason to not just open the gates and leave as soon as possible, screw your team-mates.

    For sure. Once it's down to the last gen, the game pretty much dies anyway. Too easy to bottleneck and not enough incentives to play altruistically. It's something that wasn't a problem years ago.

    Literally any other idea, but making survivor fun, by adding new, unique classes you cant do in 1v4.

    Add more killers, add iri shards, make bp 800%, why is everyone ignoring the one and only answer that would make killer players, also play survivor?.

    Its insane how people one way or another, intentionally or not, skip every other option, but THE one option, that doesnt make bhvr suffer with these ideas.

    Is adding new classes such an impossible idea or does it have some major consequence that im overlooking, that im the only one that, is not seeing it?.

    Adding one class that you could've replaced with escapist and find a flashlight from chests before torchbearer got added, does not help.
